Pagliacci Pizza

Social Profile:

The Juanita location opened January 7, 1999. After waiting nearly 20 years, locals were finally able to have Seattle’s best pizza delivered right to their door. Their votes helped pave the way for Pagliacci to become recognized by The Seattle Times readers as Best Eastside Pizza in 1999 and 2000. With a renovated Juanita Beach Park and development allowing for more businesses, restaurants and dwellings, the once quite neighborhood is now a hive of activity. The store also sells beer and wine, both in-store and for take-out or delivery!

Laid-back pizzeria offering thin-crust pies, beer & wine, for in-store, take-out or delivery.

Ordered a large Chicken + Spanish/ Margarita half-half pizza $32.50 + tax. Toppings so scant not going back. Crust like cardboard. I can make a better pizza by buying generic dough and just put more toppings on it myself. Even though and it was a take out order, still asked for tip. Really? Not going back. Are it’s employees trying to bankrupt the store? Going to the new Redmond location in the future. At least the Redmond store gave me a free slice of pizza on the grand opening recently and it was pretty good.

I tried to resolve this on the phone w customer service three times, but now I feel like the only option is to leave a review. I was a devoted Pagliacci customer for 28 years but now I’m done. The Juanita, Kirkland location is filled with apathetic teenagers and an equally apathetic manager. We ordered a gluten free pizza due to an allergy, and received one with gluten. I didn’t realize it until I was two slices in and got very sick. When I called, the rep was defensive and tried to claim I didn’t ask for that (but I later confirmed it was in the order). Last week, we went to pick up a takeout order. The staff made us wait 20 minutes because they messed up a pizza. Did not offer a refund. My partner took it home. Not only was it raw, it had almost none of the main ingredient (mushrooms) and was covered in raw onions and globs of cold goat cheese, completely not what we ordered. I called. Was told the manager would call and we would be refunded. Neither happened. Called again and talked to Sam who had talked to me over the years and remembered me. He is the customer service manager. He promised the refund (still outstanding) and a call from the Juanita Kirkland manager. News flash: she does not care and did not call. The staff is awful because she is apathetic. Will update if there ever is a call or a refund but when you’re spending $100 on two pizzas, and tossing one in the garbage, it’s not worth the money. Poor quality, lazy work, lazy management. That’s the last pizza we will ever order from them. Food is more expensive than ever, don’t waste your money here.

The place has ample parking and has both outdoor
and indoor seating. The indoor is great but I
wouldn’t really recommend the outdoor seating. Tried them first time during a weekend dinner time and was pleasantly surprised.
They have a great selection of veggie items on their
menu. You order at the counter and they bring it
your table.
We had their special mushroom primo that had a
mix of 7different types of mushrooms such as
crimini, chanterelle, oyster king, Maitake shimeji etc.
The pizza had a great umami flavor, the crust was great and the base had a good garlic flavor.
and the 13 inch was enough for sharing for two
people.
Would definitely try their other options.

Ordered the Da Vito Primo/ Parma Primo and it was really good. The sausage they used was very tasty. Their tomato sauce along with the roasted tomatoes were very tangy which helps cut through the richness of the cheese. The crust was crunchy and chewy. Will come back again. Recommended!!

We’re locals, and Pagliacci is our favorite pizza in Washington. We always get a margarita pizza and the pagliaccio salad. I HIGHLY recommend. This Kirkland location was awesome today. The pizza was sooo good. So perfect. They just went through a remodel and I had to get photos of everything because they did such a great job with the remodel. It looked amazing.

This was my favorite pizza place (I’ve literally spent thousands here over the years), now I can’t even afford to eat here any more. It’s $30 to takeout a large cheese pizza. I can no longer justify eating here when alternatives are so much less expensive.

Customer service is awesome. Staff is friendly and didn’t mind my special request to keep the crust on my Centioli. I like in Bothell and usually go to Kenmore location. But this location is my preferred option from now on.

Such a great place to get pizza! It’s like a nice in between from a fast food pizza place and a mom and pop shop. Friendly workers and tasty pizza. You can order by the slice or get a whole pizza – which is what we did.

Plus, great artwork on the pizza boxes and bags! Such a unique pizza place.

Well usually Pagliacci is on point. I used to get it delivered all the time in downtown. Unfortunately this location just isn’t as good. As you can see they undercooked my pizza and for forced me to put in our oven to actually get it to a point where it was enjoyable. Along with the really expensive breadsticks which are good but just disappointed with the higher cost you don’t get the better product. Maybe the remodel here is making things hard on the crew. Or maybe they were just having an off day.

Edit: Pagliacci reached out about this and made it right. Definitely the way to do business and keep me coming back. Thanks Pizza Pals!

My initial review is not as a customer, but as a vendor. The Level of cleanliness and high hygiene standards is top-notch. I will eat from this joint without any worries.
