This is a go to for take out for us here in Moncks Corner. Typically we order anything to do with seafood and the wings. I love their wings; they have a bit of a peppery kick with enough sweet to balance it out. Bit messy with the rub but worth it.

I recently checked out another Page’s Okra Grill location, and it delivered a really solid Southern‑style meal. This spot had a slightly different vibe than the one I’ve been to before—still lively, but a bit more laid‑back, which made it easy to settle in and enjoy the evening.
Even with a steady crowd, the staff stayed on top of things. Our server was upbeat, quick with refills, and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering. It felt like they had a good rhythm going despite how busy the place was.
We kicked things off with a couple of starters, and they came out hot and fresh. The fried green tomatoes were thick and well‑seasoned, and the fried okra had that perfect crunch that’s hard to get right. Both appetizers were gone in minutes.
For my main dish, I went with one of their seafood options. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the scallops had great flavor, though I wouldn’t have minded one or two more on the plate. The fish had a nice char, but it leaned a bit salty for my taste. The sides—collards and mac and cheese—were comforting and balanced everything out nicely.
Overall, this location held up well. Great service, flavorful food, and a welcoming atmosphere. A few small tweaks could make it even better, but I’d definitely come back the next time I’m in the area.

Today’s special was Chicken and Dumplings. Couldn’t wait to be impressed again. Arrived to pick up the order and I’m told it looks like I got the last one. That should have been a clue. Got home and found a half of a bowl of chicken soup. There was one (1) dumpling in the bowl. I’ve never been so disappointed with my portion size from here before so today was the first. And they charged me full price. I guess the next time I will need to inspect the order before I leave. And I made a special trip from Goose Creek for this because it sounded (and looked) so good on the website. What I did get tastec good… just missing the dumplings and half of the bowl. Sorry folks but you have finally found a way to disappoint me.

I had some wings and collards today. The wings were nice size but they may have been a little sweet for me. They did have a good smokey flavor though. I hate to say the collards were not my favorite. They really didn’t have too much taste.

This place was delicious! I love little food truck type places. They always have the best food, but one of the things that makes this cute little restaurant special is all of the picnic tables, and little games to keep the kiddos busy while you wait. It is a true gem of Monks corner! I would recommend it to anyone who likes seafood or even a burger . Prices are around $12-20 on average.

Stopped here after work for dinner for the first time friendly atmosphere! I got the fried shrimp with macaroni and cheese and cole slaw absolutely delicious! Very generous portions. I’ll definitely be back to try some more menu items and some dessert.

Very generous portions, large tasty shrimp, awesome banana pudding and best shrimp and grit cakes I’ve had in a long time! My husband had the whiting fish special with okra and it was very good, too. We greatly enjoyed dinner under the oaks and highly recommend! Will definitely be returning.

We went with the chicken bowl (the fried chicken was beyond perfect), mahi mahi with the AMAZING remoulade sauce, mac n cheese, fried okra… every bite was mouth watering.
We’re only sorry we didn’t have room for desert. Highly recommend!!!
