I’ve been going to Pagano’s since I was 18 I’m 66 now the food is still good packed with meat the roles are a couple inches shorter you can’t get your own pickles and peppers anymore the cost of some of the nasty customers putting their hands in the jars so for some reason they don’t give you pickles and peppers unless you pay for them and then you might have to spend three or four dollars just to get enough to put on a sandwich on this visit I got a Cheesesteak hoagie mayonnaise mustard and ketchup fried onions the man put the ketchup on there and put one line of mustard and looked at me strange when I asked for more is this something new stuff but it’s a real turn off

I grew up in the area but has since moved to the suburbs. This place is now 50 minutes from my house but I have taken the drive 3 times in 5 days. Had chicken cheese steak each time and it was great. I will be back this weekend for sure. Great food, great people and great cheese cake as well. My order is a pepper chicken cheese steak, mayo ketchup black pepper hots and sweets cooked in, old bay fries, strawberry cheesecake and a brisk iced tea. Mouth just started watering again

We ordered twice through Uber Eats. The sandwich was fine both times, however, the wrong dessert was sent both times. This is ridiculous. Strawberry Shortcake was ordered and both times Strawberry Chessecake was sent. Please read the instructions. Those items are different.

We were all disappointed in the steak sandwiches. I ordered a chicken and my kids ordered a regular steak. All the sandwiches were soggy. They were made with cheese, mayo, ketchup, fried onions, and pickles. I’m puzzled as to why they were so soggy/wet. Too much meat, the sandwiches fell apart when you picked them up. The meat didn’t taste like anything. All I was able to taste were the pickles, and ketchup.

An Absolute Must-Try in Philly!

I stopped by Pagano’s Steaks & Hoagies after an event in Philadelphia, and let me tell you—it was phenomenal! I ordered the Triple Cheesesteak, and my brother had the Triple Chicken Cheesesteak, both with fries. The portions were huge, piping hot, and packed with flavor—we couldn’t even finish them (and we tried!).

The atmosphere was just as impressive. There were three guys working behind the counter, and each one was friendly, welcoming, and down-to-earth. One of them even took the time to chat with us when he found out we were from out of state. You could tell they genuinely appreciated our visit, and that kind of hospitality makes a big difference.

If you’re in Philly—go here. Whether you dine in or grab takeout, you won’t be disappointed.
10/10 would recommend. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

I came here to get some cheesesteaks. The food was good and the workers were very nice to us. I gave atmosphere at 3 only because there was nowhere to eat and it was loud and the workers were arguing at each other. That’s not great for business. The price was fair. Does she says were tasty and there were many different kinds of them. I would definitely recommend others to come here and try it.

I liked it better when I could grab pickles on my own, lol. Now, everything is charged and nickle/dimed in costs. The taste was great but you can see a.major change from back in the day. $16+ for a sandwich. I remember when it was $12. Sign of the times, however, the taste js good and the staff are great.
