We went on a Thursday late afternoon. We ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana with Spaghetti and the Spinach Calzone(Extra Spinach)…this was a HUGE Calzone, I only ate 1/3 , took rest of it home..even more YUMMMMIER the next day, heated up in my air fryer. The Salads were also very nicely dressed and the pre meal bread with the olive oil is EVEEEEEEEL!!!!!
My tiny wife that is the one that USUALLY has leftovers…ate her ENTIRE meal
This is the nicest, best food place in BASTROP.

My brothers treated me out to eat to this location for the first time yesterday. The owner immediately greeted me and my brothers upon entering and actually checked on us consistently to make sure everything was to our liking. He kept a smile the whole time. The bread for appetizer was so soft and freshly made. The food was definitely on point as well as my drink. The atmosphere was relaxing and you see other customers enjoying themselves. The staff as well held friendly conversations while there. I highly recommend this place!

This is an excellent example of what can be accomplished when people come together with a high standard, and are led to meet the dtandard. The ambience is amazing, the food was truly excellent. I had veal with penne and brown mushroom gravy, my wife a chicken dish she raved about, and our daughter had chicken Alfredo. The apps were amazing, def try the fried ravioli. Don’t leave room for dessert, but get it anyway. You’ll thank me later

This is by far the best resturant I have found in the small town of Bastrop Louisiana, there were 3 of us in our party I tried every dish at the table to be sure. The spaghetti and meatballs are delicious, the sauce is not over powering for the dish. Usually red sauce means heart burn, not here perfect compliment to the home made meat balls. The shrimp Alfredo is cooked perfectly, no tails on the shrimp, and their not over cooked juicy and huge. Catfish dinner special is very good as well, fried catfish with your choice of salad and side. Full bar

Beautiful environment, Excellent service…good bar, and I repeat, servers are GREAT!…Pizza…well, that left a lot to be desired. “New York style”…not so much.. overloaded with cheese and grease does not make it NY style, crust seemed pre-made, possible frozen, sparse toppings, $5 pizza for $15.
