We went for lunch on Good Friday and it was not so crowded. Service is great. Food is nice. The setting was not formal and it may pass as a casual setting but not as a casual diner setting thing.
We ordered mozarella in carroza, linguine chicken anchovy olio and chicken portobello. The mozarella and its dip is perfect. The linguine chicken anchovy oil is not salty. The chicken portobello is somewhat on the oily side. But all in all, it was a great food and experience.
I would love to try the other dishes.
Ohh and btw, they did not inform the last call to order. We were planning to order a take out but the kitchen was already closed.

Not great authentic Italian food, my dish was very dry, over cooked chicken but had overly greasy oily pasta. A bit expensive for the quality of food. My wife had fish which was overcooked. Don’t know if the chef is Italian or classically trained but not up to the standard of European Italian food. Don’t think I’d go back there

Great place, better than most in Waikiki. Well worth trying out. The food was excellent and service was the best we have seen in a long time on island. Wife had the Chefs Special of Veal and Shrimp in caper wine sauce, I had Veal With marsala and mushroom sauce. Both delicious and well prepared. I highly recommend Paisanos!
The one downside is for the older hostess, she first tried to seat us in the back facing the toilets. That’s always going to be a no go. The place was nowhere near full so …in most restaurants; if the place isn’t full, those are the last seats to fill, that almost set the tone for this review. Because usually first impressions are everything. Otherwise we had the best table service we’ve had on island in over 20 years. Bonus, the food was great too.

For the amount of food you receive and the price you pay it is not worth it. The taste was okay nothing spectacular or great about it. The seafood salad was better than the entrees I ordered. I will probably not go back there again if I could help it. I think Riccardo’s is a much better Italian restaurant.

It was a good dinner. Bread is hot, food service was nice. Nothing too much and just right. Food quality fit the price point. Mom and I had a delightful time and my daughter, who is 2 really enjoyed it as well!

Had a very nice dinner at Paesano’s, it was a Sunday night and we were able to be seated at 6 with no problems. Staff we very attentive once we sat down. Bread and water came out promptly, our server made us aware of the specials right away and gave us plenty of time and space to make a decision on what to get. There’s nothing worse than being rushed for turn over. I ordered the friend mozzarella to start which I always do, this definitely could’ve been better. They were they standard frozen kind from a food service vendor. The sauce was good so it helped. Next I ordered the ravioli with meat sauce and the wife ordered a shrimp and pasta dish. Both were good, the portions were good ( small ) the flavors we’re also good. The meat sauce wasn’t to sweet but could’ve had a touch more seasoning. Over all a good experience and we will definitely go back for another meal.
