Padrinos offers up street tacos, elotes, tostadas, and other comfort foods. We just changed our menu! Our margaritas are the best. We are open late every Friday and Saturday night until 1:30 AM. Delivery until midnight. Take out until 1 AM. Intl Karaoke on Fridays, music, comedy shows on our calendar every Saturday.

Padrinos is one of my favorite places to go! The customer service can’t be topped, and the food is impeccable. Anytime I order my tacos they come out within 10 mins of ordering. Huge props to the general manager widow, she will always treat you right and her drinks are top notch!

We ordered two burritos to go. It seemed like our order got lost because it took at least twenty minutes. We got home to find food we didn’t order.
Unfortunately what we did get looked nearly inedible. I am not usually very picky, and I threw this in the trash after one bite.
The staff were polite and friendly, but the quality of food here is completely unacceptable.

My experience last night was atrocious. We waited for our food for over an hour. The chef was drunk and constantly messing up orders. The female owner was also drinking on the job and not being much help to the rest of the staff. Our servers at the bar were excellent and were the only ones trying to get us our food and holding the place together. The owner’s lack of urgency and care was apparent and we were incredibly disappointed. We ended up leaving with empty stomachs.

Fantastic family owned Mexican restaurant. Very approachable and bright vibe. Wait staff highly attentive. Food was exceptional and reasonably priced. Great margaritas. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed Padrinos and supporting a small business. We will be sure to enjoy Padrinos again next time we are in St Louis at their main location or when attending a St Louis City SC game.

I hate to do this, but I have to. The food was burnt. We waited 30-40 minutes for our food and then the waitress came back and said the kitchen was missing stuff or they weren’t ready to take orders and then when we got the food, my food was burnt. My experience last night was horrible we waited hours for our food with a group of 4. Other tables got there food first which was a table of 6 and they came later into the restaurant. The owner was drinking at the table not helping employees with task that they might need help with or to even greet customers who have came in. We have already been waiting hours with no apologize.. for the late delay or to check on us at all. The servers were amazing doing there best to make sure the quest was happy. Come to find out that our food was getting messed up multiple times and getting sent back multiple times to find out that the cook was drunk in the back. I will never come back after last night and to know I thought this was gonna be my favorite spot it is now at the bottom of my list.

So this is a cool hip little spot on grand Avenue. It’s actually a hidden gem Excellent service great food great margaritas but the best salsa I’ve ever had. If you haven’t already come check it out. I totally recommend it.

We came here because our favorite, Sal y Limon closed and so the staff moved here. It was still so good. The margs were exactly as we remembered them, tasting like a melted popsicle.
We came back shortly after our first visit so we have tried the quesadilla fajita, multiple tacos, and the chicken fajitas. The food was excellent and bountiful. They give you chips and salsa as you sit down as well.
Both times we went in the evening for dinner and they were setting up a small stage for either live music or standup or something. Then the second time we went, they had a man DJing after 9pm. We were told there’s an event space downstairs which we didn’t see. Overall it’s my top pick for Mexican on grand

My sister and I went for an impromptu Sunday lunch. I live in the area and had driven/walked by several times so was curious to try! It did not disappoint. We were literally the only people there which was puzzling but I was fine with it.
My sister got one of the chicken dishes with a piña colada and I got the birria tacos which were phenomenal- it was one of the first times i had seen them offered at a restaurant so i was excited to try them and they were delicious. My passion fruit margarita was a perfect pairing for them.
Our server was so sweet, offered suggestions and checked in with us frequently. I am definitely wanting to go back for karaoke.

The food is decent. The drinks are the star of the whole operation. The staff is super friendly and attentive. If you like getting a bang for your buck go see Widoww at the bar she’s the best!!
