Stopped by on the way up north and was totally impressed. Great beer options and delicious food. Was expecting decent bar food, but this was way better. Had a salad and one of their own pizza creations – both were great. Prices are extremely fair and the service was awesome, too although it was pretty busy. Will be a must do stop for our next trip again.

We were headed home from a color tour and needed to grab some dinner. We first tried a restaurant about a mile from the paddle me hard restaurant. Did I write that correctly? Close enough. Anyways…. There were about 5 cars in the parking lot and that scared me. Why is this place empty on a Saturday night? And who killed the bear in the first place??
So we regrouped and scooted over to the paddle harder place. It was really good. I got the BBQ Mac and cheese with pulled pork, great.
My wife got the fish tacos. Awesome. She says they were, and I quote, “yum”.
My friend got a panini but I forget which kind. He liked it a lot. Friend’s wife got a pizza. Also very good. So good stuff. Bit of a limited food menu, but you got options. So go try the paddling you hard brewery.

Very good and very unique pizzas. Their crab ragoon and jalapeno popper pizza stick apps are amazing! Highly recommend getting a flight of drinks if you don’t know what you want, try a range and see what hits. They have liquor if you’re not feeling beer and hard ciders too. Definitely a must try and check their Facebook page for their pizza special of the month to try something that’s not on the menu. You’ll come across favorites like their thanksgiving pizza, ribeye pizza, Reuben pizza, the list goes on!

Stopped on the way home from an up north trip. Really loved the atmosphere. Regretfully did not try the pizza. It smelled wonderful but after trying the jalapeño popper sticks we thought we’d try other things, a salad and tacos. I think I’d like to try the pizza. The beer was also a win!

Enjoyed our visit for a few drinks on a Friday afternoon. Beers include their own and several other beers from other breweries. Lively atmosphere, great and friendly service at the bar. Enjoyed it.

We got a variety of food for a table. Primarily, though, it was the pizzas. I review a lot of pizza joints, and this one is 3 out of 5 for the pizza. The ambiance and the effort of the service staff put in, got my review up to four full stars. The beer tasted ok. I do have to say, I will be back to do an updated review in the future.

A friend and I enjoyed dinner here one night on our way back south. The staff was friendly and the place was comfortable inside. The menu has lots of choices, and the house beers were good. I really enjoyed my lobster mac & cheese, and my friend found the coney dog pizza to be a surprisingly good meal. I’d recommend them for the food alone, but the beer was a cherry on top. Definitely worth a stop.

This is my favorite restaurant! They have the best tortilla chips and gluten free options for every pizza/panini they have. Highly recommend this place!

This is, hands down, my new favorite thin crust Northern MI pizza joint. Our party of four tried the new dill pickle pizza as a gluten free panini and it was so amazing, we almost got a whole pizza. But their other pizzas sounded so good, we had to try more! I’m going back as soon as I can. The GF crust is cauliflower and is indistinguishable from the wheat based crust – it’s that good. In fact so good our celiac guest almost finished off the entire thing. We tried the whitewater veg, princess, and spinach & feta. All were delicious. We can’t wait to go back again, and poke around the cute nearby shops in downtown Grayling while we’re there.

We just stopped for drinks and appetizers before our 4-hour drive home, but this was a wonderful way to end a three-day weekend. An impressive selection of draft house brews and a selection of craft ciders too. Our personable bartender made the visit welcoming and memorable. We will be back – next time at the start of the weekend! BTW – try the soft pretzel sticks with cheese dip; a true guilty pleasure!
