I was skeptical before going. But, this is what the mom cooked food feels like. The interior is not wow. But it’s very clean. The open kitchen is also very clean. I liked the warmth of the owner and the chef(husband-wife). They were super nice and food was perfect.

Great noodles- had Pad Thai, Drunken noodles which were nicely spiced. The appetizer platter was good too. Highly recommended.

Small casual restaurant. We ordered the Kapao ground beef and fried egg, Asian broccoli with pork belly, pad see ew with chicken and fried chicken curry spring rolls. All the food was fantastic! The folks who run the place and cook are super nice. They also sell some Thai bracelets and bags.

Very small and unassuming Thai restaurant. The previous five star restaurant experience of the owner/operators is obvious from the quality of their meals. Such lovely people and truly phenomenal cuisine and a true secret treasure in Charlottesville. The menu has so much variety that it runs over onto several white boards that are changed frequently. There will always be something new. They have been serving the area for almost 20 years and I don’t doubt that you could be a regular and still be constantly surprised. The Pork Spare Ribs with Fried Egg and Jasmine Rice was a substantial portion that was tender and savory. The herb tea is a lemon grass and probably some other herbs, but predominantly the grass, and is available hot or cold. The spring rolls with homemade sauce were absolutely perfect. Will definitely have to go back to try some other variety from the menu.

TL;DR: One of only Thai restaurants not overpriced in Charlottesville. Family-owned. Casual restaurant. Person at the counter was very nice.
Specific Foods:
Drunken Noodles: 7.0/10 (taste was on bland side, added sriracha, was decently healthy besides the noodles)

Mom and pop restaurant. For me, best Thai in town. Never went wrong, from the drunken noodles to the noodle soup, through the spring rolls. Cville gem.

Super kind owners with delicious menu options! Their curry and noodles are both amazing. Their appetizers are also top (calamari, dumplings, wontons etc.)
The restaurant itself isn’t necessarily a beautiful spot, so we love getting take out here

The food was authentic and being a spice lover I loved the way it was. We had hungry drunken noodles with Thai spice level, spicy noodle soup with hot spice level and red Thai curry with hot spice level. I totally loved the food.

This is is the best thai food in Charlottesville. Be prepared for flavor because this is Thai family-style. When you get the lamb you get “bone in”, son! Because that’s where the flavor is! When you order calamari, you get an actual squid! Because that’s where the flavor is. Love this place.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Charlottesville! The food is consistently delicious whether you dine in or get take-out. I have been here more times than I can count! The drunken noodles and vegetable spring rolls in particular are my favorite dishes. The owners are very friendly too!!
