Been here twice, tired 5 different dishes, the rice dishes are good! However, the coconut chicken soup was missing all the herbal ingredients, so it was just coconut cream; and the Pad Thai noodles were totally killed with sugar. I rather have the quality over than quantity, I did not even finish half of it. I used to live in Bangkok for 12yrs.

I was so excited to try this new Thai spot in my neighborhood since I’m a huge fan of Thai food, especially Pad Kra Pow.
I ordered the basil minced pork and crispy pork, both were amazing! The flavor tasted just like authentic Thai basil stir-fry, perfectly balanced and full of freshness. The portion sizes were generous, and the price was very reasonable compared to what you get.
Highly recommended from someone Thai, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

I passed by this spot every time. so earlier today I stopped by to try out their food. Luckily, I went during lunch and I ordered their lunch special: minced chicken (spicy) and tom yum chicken. The food taste was amazing and their tom yum was so good. The flavor was there. The atmosphere and decoration were also very nice. They even play Thai songs. The server was nice and friendly. I would be back again!

Brand new Thai place opened up on Cortelyou. The roast pork was crispy and cooked perfectly. The sauce goes great with the rice and I would definitely come back to try the other options. Coming back for the ribeye Pad Kra Prow. The staff were also super nice. Very welcoming and felt Iike I walked into a Thai household. Store was clean.

They have Khao Soi !! We were introduced to the dish while traveling in northern Thailand and loved it. Pad Kra Prow serves an excellent Khao Soi. No need to drive all the way to Bushwick to have northern Thai cuisine. It’s right here on Cortelyou road in Ditmas Park. We ordered takeout and delivery was fast and efficient. We will be back to try all the dishes

Tried the brand new Thai restaurant in our neighborhood after returning from cycling: Pad Kra Pow in Kensington, Brooklyn, NYC.
They specialize in stir fry basil dishes. Indoor and outdoor seating.
Got the vegetables and tofu stir fry #17 medium Thai spicy which comes with rice. Great for sharing. This was our lunch.
Wife was hiccuping and thought too spicy but I thought just right.
4 out of 5 (can’t compete with Elmhurst Thai). They have a narrow niche for Thai cooking. I don’t typically order these types of dishes. If they have a more diverse menu I’ll be back.

Had my lunch and all I can say is that the food was authentic thai, as I’ve been to Thailand and the taste is exactly how it should be. The server was kind and gave me the phrik nam pla, as I requested for it. Phrik nam pla is a sauce that is served with rice dishes in Thailand and it consists of fish sauce, chilis, garlic and soy sauce with a dash of lime juice and a bit of sugar to balance out the heat.

I heard about this place from my cousin who raved about their rating and food. It is easy to miss but worth the visit. I ordered the basil fried rice to go. Delicious fresh and well presented.

It’s a pretty good concept, having a one-dish restaurant … if you do it well. Pad Kra Prow does. Stir-holy basil with a protein is actually the national Thai dish and they do it justice.
