A group of friends and myself went for lunch, and the service was just not it. The food was good, and hot, but the service was awful. The second we were greeted we were met with an exasperated attitude. We had a group of 8, which can be annoying, but we were the ONLY ones in the restaurant to start. Our server was pushy and impatient. When taking our order she was very rude and rushed us. She quite literally snatched a menu off of our table. It took 40 minutes to get food, which is understandable, there’s a lot of us, but then less than 10 minutes into eating, she came back and asked us if we wanted anything else or if we needed boxes. Most people were still actively eating. The whole time we were being stared at and circled like sharks, just waiting and rushing us to leave. We checked what time they closed just in case we were being rude, we got there two hours before they closed… so I don’t know why they were so pushy. It was just not an enjoyable experience. We felt rushed and unwelcomed the entire time. Like we were an inconvenience to the establishment. Most of my party works in service, we know what’s it’s like. We said our pleases and thank yous, weren’t overly loud, didn’t overstay our welcome. We wouldn’t even have the chance to we were rushed out. One of our servers was very sweet, the other main server was very much not. I would recommend the food, I would not recommend the staff.

I have been to this restaurant MULTIPLE times for breakfast and have had decent experiences. This time I went during ‘Happy Hour’ to try the drink special and meal special at a recommendation of a friend. The drink special was a margarita. I mentioned that, as a diabetic, I cannot have sugar, so asked if the mix/ sugar could be left out- lime only please. The server, who happened to be the OWNER, NEVER mentioned that leaving out the mix/sugar would cost more than double the drink special price (special$7.50 charged $16.50)! Fast forward to bill time, I was surprised and asked why-he tried explaining he didn’t make up the prices. Hmmm. I called him on it- being on the island for many, many years, was told he was the owner. Told him as the owner it was dishonest … he needed to be transparent, especially after announcing how excited I was to try the daily specials upon my arrival! I will NOT be visiting this location ever again for breakfast nor daily specials and I will spread the word. Disappointed in your dishonesty. And, lastly, the food (special) was bland and boring.

Food was delicious but not spicy at all.
It was very clean in the dining room.
Came in as a table of 8.
Right off the bat the hostess who sat us was rude. Despite being the only table in the entire restaurant, our food took 40 minutes. This is only a problem because upon recieving our food, we were given 10 minutes to eat before being asked to leave.

Careful. There a video circulating of their location in hanapepe pressure washing what looks like their grease traps on the road right in front of the establishment. Grease all over the road? Dept of Health?

From a Mexican perspective I would rate this restaurant as very low. People that say its authentic food clearly have never eaten in a real Mexican table and only tourist orientated restaurants. The taste of the food is bland. Mexican food is rich in flavor and this place does not have it. I would say the view is really nice.

Legit mexican food not tourist restaurant version, in a comfortable old school golf course clubhouse setting with amazing views. If you’re looking for a local feel this is it. Fun putt putt golf right outside for 5 bucks or play 9 holes on a well kept course for 10 bucks.

Delicious shrimp tacos really hit the spot! Helpful and friendly staff. Wish there were more shady seats and that it wasn’t on a busy road.
