Myself, my husband and two friends popped in for an early dinner feast. We “split all we could fit” .. and then some. The chicken Sammy, the Cuban, the duck wrap, the burger, the wings, the Caesar salad, the SEASONED fries annnd the PIES (Key lime & passion fruit, oh boy). We took a ton to go, and the owners wife was right the Cuban hits the next day cold, especially after a night out. The atmosphere was fantastic, from the friendly staff to the hand painted mural and the duck claw machine. Nice to grab a bevy and relax. Can’t wait to make a trip back down!

This sub shop is amazing! The Ruben was phenomenal and I also tried a bite of the smash burger and it was awesome. The fries are fresh cut and everything was hot and not greasy. Their malt sauce was so unique and especially good on the fries. Excellent customer service and very clean. Highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious and extremely consistent! These guys specialize in everything they put on their menu. You can literally taste the effort. If I could give it 10 Stars I would. Crazy incredible fries and the burgers are to die for. Highly recommend, great atmosphere!

Being from south philly, I know a great sandwich when I see one and this place… you have to stop here and try one of their sandwiches and the Caesar salad! And the fries are fresh cut. Everything here is scratch, I even think they make their own dressings.

This is a cute sandwich shop. It’s a smallish menu, but I think they excel at what they do. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you. The staff are very friendly. Not sure if the Wings always come unsauced with containers for dipping or if they were ordered that way.
I had the pastrami. It’s got a nice thick layer of moist flavorful meat. The wings were all well cooked. They sauces were good for.
The pork sandwich and the fries steal the show. The pork sandwich tasted a bit like a Cuban. It was very good. The fries are definitely a point of pride for them. They have a process and they were excellent as well. You could come in for the fries alone and it would be worth the visit.
They have a nice local following which is always a good sign.
It’s important to visit these non chain restaurants. Especially ones doing things well.

We are visiting NSB and got to try Paco Submarine. The food was delicious and extremely fresh! We tried the local fish basket which included red snapper, the smashburger, and the boardwalk fries. It was probably one of the best smashburgers and fried fish baskets I’ve ever had. The tempura batter was spectacular on the fish! If you go, get the boardwalk fries. They were AMAZING! I can’t wait to have it again next time we visit.

Delicious, local and fast! Our first time for a lunch visit and it was fresh and good. We ordered The Whaler (chicken sandwich) with fries and the Caesar Salad with chicken. So delicious and the fries are hand cut, hot and fresh. Large portions too! Looking forward to going again and trying other sandwiches! Yum!

I had an amazing lunch here, I got The Whaler and some fries. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the quality was top notch. I loved it so much, I came back the next day…AND the day after that. While I loved every sandwich, I think my personal favorite was the Smoked Lamb Wrap. And be sure to leave room for pie, I had the Key Lime and Strawberry Thyme, again, both were excellent. I will definitely be coming back.

I got paired with a group to play golf this morning and one of the guys I was playing with said he runs a “sandwich shop” right down street. Said I should check it out. We are in town for the first time and are always looking for a good place eat so we went and checked it out.
IT WAS FANTASTIC! The biggest undersell by an owner in a long time. As described it is a “dive”but the food is top shelf. We had the wreck fish (fish of the day) basket and the pastrami sandwich. They were great but the fries are killer. Have them with the Old Bay option.
And to top it all off the owner is a great dude, unassuming, humble and by the way just happens to be a top flight chef, who gave up the go go go of fine dining for his own “sandwich shop.” You can read his story online. It is fine dining quality in an approachable and affordable sandwich.
If there was one at home, this would be the daily lunch stop! Check it out. Local business that is killing it on quality and experience.
