This place is a hidden gem. Don’t let the rough exterior and smoky interior fool you. This is more than just a bar. The food is phenomenal. I have eaten at restaurants with tasting menus and many local steakhouse, and have never had a steak as delicious as the one at Packsaddle. They are fairly fatty and sometimes have some grissle, but the taste is amazing and they cook them perfectly, and it is only $35. You can not beat it. The pork chop is also amazing and so are the burgers, but I will never order them because the steak is better. You may have to wait a while for your food if they are busy, and there is usually just one or two bartenders waiting on you so patience is a must, but it is absolutely worth it!

This place is south of Arnett in the middle of nowhere. It’s on the Packsaddle Wildlife Refuge. Great views from the back patio. The food was delicious. It smells like cigarette smoke because it is a bar, but it’s not too bad. It’s a great country bar and grill experience. The most expensive thing on their menu was the ribeye, but it was worth it.

I had the cheeseburger steak and onion rings. The cheeseburger wasn’t too bad. It was a little salty and greasy for my liking. But for the most part it had good flavor. The establishment itself was a little a little too dark for my liking and I’m not sure if their AC quit on them or what but it was kind of hot in there

My wife and I are driving from Vegas to Lexington on back roads this summer and stumbled on this restaurant.
It’s kind of in the middle of nowhere, next to a nature sanctuary, catering to local farmers and cattlemen.
It was great. The steak was perfect. The sides were perfect. The service was perfect. The view from the back porch was perfect.
I’m sorry I’m not going to be in the area any time soon. I’d love to dine here again.

It’s a great place to eat. I’d suggest hiring more people as it’s pretty slow at lunch. Case in point I have spent 1 1/2 hours there just to get a cheeseburger. Today I’ve tried calling in four times with no answer. Great service from the staff, they are just understaffed.
