Wow. Not sure what happened to this place. I use to frequent here about 9-10 years ago and the pizza was phenomenal everytime. You could taste the quality ingredients in the pizza.
I was in downtown Mount Vernon and it sounded real good so I got a pizza to go. Wow have things changed. They went from having great Neapolitan pizza, To frozen pizza or Chuck E. Cheese grade pizza. We ate it, but we’re extremely surprised on how the quality has gone so downhill over the years.
Pacionis if you’re reading this, bring back your old way of making pizza.

Dined in on 6/25/25 and wow! We were very impressed with the food and service! We are from Alaska and my wife wanted Italian so we were walking in the area and decided to eat at this location, the place had about 6 tables with what looks to be one chef and one waitress and she was super friendly and very polite, keep the drinks filled and empty plates of the table, the chef was dishing out amazing food! We started with the bruschetta, which was great! Had great plate presentation and flavor was on point! My wife got the Sicilian Pene and was amazed on the flavors as well another great plate presentation. I had the Ruben panini and yes just as you would think it was great!!! Definitely top 5 Ruben sandwiches I have had and we will definitely be back again before we leave this state! We wanna say thank you so much to the chef or cook and the waitress for a lovely dining experience and you guys rocked it! Will highly recommend this place to all our friends and family in the area if they have not already tried it! Thank you again and you both deserve a raise!

We stopped here for a drink and quick bite before a basketball game. I NEVER post reviews but felt compelled in this case. We were the only people in the restaurant on a Thursday night…. Probably a red flag…. $22 for a tiny Cobb salad and $13 for a cocktail.

My S.O. and myself were in the mood for some Italian inspired fare. We had been meaning to try this local spot for some time and finally made the move to stop in and try Pacioni’s. Our food was as expected, nothing ground breaking. My S.O. remarked that the calzone’s crust was good and she liked their marinara sauce. My turkey panini I felt could have been more sauce forward, I really didn’t taste the pesto. The orzo pasta salad that came with the panini wasn’t something we’ll get again. Neither of us liked the flavor, it had a mild sweetness that was off putting to us. Remember taste is subjective, so maybe someone out there really likes it. That wasn’t us though. Our service was impeccable, our waitress had great timing and was very accommodating to our visit. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from an Italian place in its downtown location.

I have tried this place more than once now. I wish I could say I’m happy but I am not. The quality of the food is just not good, especially for the prices they charge. I got a chicken parmesan and it came with a salad. The Caesar salad I got was the spiciest Caesar salad I’ve ever eaten. They also up charged me $5.20 for it without telling me it was extra. Everything was drowning in garlic. We didn’t even order that much food and left having spent almost $120 for two people.

I usually love this place, though have only been 5 or so times. Last night my partner and I got food to go, spaghetti and a calzone. I really do love the food here, I also understand resturaunt service because I have been in the industry myself.
I understand mistakes do happen, but upon getting home and eating our food together, and sharing, we saw a meatball that was very under cooked and pink in the center. My calzone didn’t have meat and was still warm so I felt comfortable eating that and sharing that instead because it was pretty big. Well this morning I have food poisioning to the degree of missing work, my partner has symptoms too.
This has been very disappointing because this is a spot where my partner and I celebrate our anniversery.
I know one of the cooks because we’ve seen him frequently and he wasn’t present when I looked for him last night; maybe it was a new or different cook this one time.

30 dollora for a canzone that wasn’t even half the size of the box it came in. I loved this place and was so excited then immediately disappointed the moment I got home. The calzone wasn’t even half the size it has ever been every time I’ve come in .Just super disappointed I wish I could post a Pic of how pathetic it is. To top it off the place was empty. Only good thing didn’t have to wait for the food.

What a great spot! My wife and I were finally able to come down and check out Pacioni’s Pizzeria the other night and they did not disappoint. We started out with some roasted garlic (delicious!) and then shared the Lemon Chicken Pizza. The food was delicious, the staff was helpful and kind, and the atmosphere was wonderful for an evening together. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you haven’t already!

Great, friendly wait staff. Food was delicious and presentation was great. We were there for lunch on Sunday afternoon. It’s a smaller restaurant with a cozy feel. We had the panini and spinach salad. We always have a good meal here. Lots of options on their menu and a good kids menu.
