First, I will start off by saying that we are home grown New Haven pizza snobs who have been patronizing Pacileo’s for decades. Until recently (last year or so) something has changed with their crust. It is so tough, it’s almost inedible at times. And their large pizzas are too thin. Since they only sell small & large pies, it feels like they’re using the same amount of dough for the large as they do for the small. That said, if a large is even slightly overcooked, it makes the already too thin crust on the large pie cardboard like. In the end, I will say sauce and cheese taste good. It pains me to say all of this as Pacileo’s has been our go-to pizza place FoReVeR

Third times a charm but in this case all three times have been great experiences. Great salads, awesome pizza, authentic Italian dinners, and great service from Steph all three times. Our two girls, 8 and 10 loved everything too and ask to go back the second we leave.
Gina, Tracy and Joann are awesome too! Pacileo’s is our go to local spot!

First time ordering food here and I didn’t expect only 7 shrimps only in my shrimp Fra diavolo pasta and it’s very costly. I get more at other places and good places not cheap places….so I was disappointed they give u a lot of pasta but only 7 shrimps smh. Pizza is very small and the prices are just way too high. I just happened to be in the area and decided to give them a try but never buying again. Pizza is okay too and the pasta too I just thought the shrimps were overcooked.

My first time trying New Haven style apizza. I arrived too late to dine in but they prepared my take out order quickly and provided friendly service. The apizza was good.

So last night I tried Pacileo’s sausage & onion pizza. I love pizza and always order it from restaurants that have good reviews and I have not tried in the past.
For those of you who left a review that Pacileo’s has good pizza, you either work there or know someone who does, and if you’re not you are so missing out on what good pizza is because what I had from Pacileo’s was BAD pizza.
The crust was thin but hard as a rock. It literally broke in half when I tried to fold it at the crust. And where is the sausage I ordered? Come on seriously? Too stingy on the sausage.
Seriously, this was likely the worst pizza I’ve ever had.

Clean nice little pizza place.
Unfortunately two sandwiches took a long time to come out. We were the only ones dining in.
The sandwiches were extremely good with very very fresh bread.
Also the AC made it very comfortable we will go back

Wonderful atmosphere in this small Pizzeria and Italian food restaurant that has some of the best thin crust pizza in the area! I’ve never gotten a bad meal from this place and they treat me like family, which is always nice for a place you’re walking into for dinner!

I ordered the calzone recently with no ricotta and it was very very good, although a tad overcooked. The sauce on the side for the calzone was incredible. You can tell the oven is a good pizza oven. I’ve had slices for lunch here before and it’s very convenient and good quality pizza. I will definitely be coming back to try more things.

Great food, nice little local business, great service. Been many, many times. Have had the pizza, pasta dishes, dinner specials, etc. All delicious no complaints. Good quality, good portions and good service. Great little pizza place and restaurant. They’ve got a great staff in the kitchen whipping up tasty foods, and solid friendly service. Small place with a comfortable casual atmosphere. If you are in the area and want a good meal or good pizza come here
