Cozy, contemporary bistro with globally inspired tapas, many specialty cocktails & a fireplace.

If you are looking for somewhere to eat with an amazing, friendly staff, awesome atmosphere, delicious food, and interestingly tasty cocktails this is it (and if you’re anything like me and can never pick just one item on the menu, their tapas style dining is perfect!) Basically, just stop scrolling and GO HERE! From the moment we entered we were taken care of. We were in Virginia Beach for a field hockey tournament and didn’t consider making reservations in advance (not to mention it is Valentine’s Day weekend) but Pacifica accommodated us. Ella, our waitress, was super friendly, attentive, and provided great conversation and service! We were entertained by their train station style flip boards scrolling everything from weather and surf report to quotes and cute pickup lines. Overall, a very enjoyable experience at Pacifica!

This place is awesome. I’ve got two go-tos in VA Beach, and I was hesitant to deviate to Pacifica. My leap of faith was rewarded. Food was great. Trevor made phenomenal cocktails and great food/drink recommendations. Erin was top notch, too.

This past weekend, I had one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time. The tapas were absolutely phenomenal—every dish was intentional, flavorful, and executed with precision. One of the highlights for me was the carpaccio. What made it stand out was the interactive element: they actually let you cook it yourself, exactly how you like it. That’s not just a meal, that’s an experience.
The fish? Fresh as it gets. You could taste the quality in every bite. And the cocktails were spot on—balanced, creative, and perfectly aligned with the beachside vibe. As someone who lives and breathes mixology, I was impressed by how dialed-in their bar setup was. It had me itching to jump back behind the bar and start shaking up some cocktails myself.
And let’s talk about the venue—it nailed the aesthetic. It made you feel like a beach bum in the best way possible. Relaxed, inspired, fully present.
Bottom line: when a place can hit every sensory detail—taste, service, atmosphere, and experience—that’s not just dinner. That’s high-level execution. And I respect the hell out of that.

This place is perfect! Always a relaxed environment, the chillest vibes, and the most hospitable staff. I’ve never met their chef/kitchen MVPs, but they are beyond talented.
If you love a great place to chat with great cocktails and tapas, then this is THE place for you. Don’t let the tapas concept fool you, no matter how hungry you are, you can eat well with food made from wholesome ingredients.
Their Happy Hour is freaking perfect, from 2-5pm from Tues-Sun. The Chiccharrones are fantastic, and the espresso martinis are perfect!
The staff feels like family and remember you! What more can you ask for?!

We LOVE Pacifica! The perfect night is eating dinner at Sorella’s, walking the beach, then finishing our evening with coffee & creme Brûlée at Pacifica. The service is always spectacular, the coffee brewed just right & the crème Brûlée delicious with every bite.

What a great place to have small tapas dishes at as well as the great drinks! Always great atmosphere and people. And of course my favorite Professor Plum. Oh and try the charcuterie board with the pickles

What a cool place. Love tapas-centric places. The dishes were very nice – especially the clams in n’duja broth. So good. Our waitress, Darcey – made the night perfect. Or maybe it was the clementine upside-down cake or key lime ice cream sandwich! Either way… it was a great night. Great drinks, as well…. oh… right… that was it!!! In truth… it was all of the above.

Second time at Pacifica, in part because it’s close to where we stayed and in part because it’s open late. We love the low key/chill, dimly lit atmosphere and friendly service. They serve a variety of interesting small plates and have a good selection of craft beer and wine. They also have decent options for vegetarians. I felt our first time, the food was better, but they have a rotating selection so they’re always keeping it fresh. Both times, the flatbread was great so definitely recommend that! Overall, it’s a good place for conversation with friends, drinks, and small plates!
