TLDR: Incredible sushi, amazing service from Logan, great vibe and atmosphere. Highly recommend, don’t sleep on this place.
We swung by Pacific Rim based on the recommendation of a few friends. We got there right at 4:30 pm on a Friday, and were treated to excellent service immediately. As soon as we walked in, the vibe was immaculate and perfect.
Right after sitting and giving our initial drink order, we were introduced to our waiter Logan. Logan was very attentive and checked in with us many times. I also asked Logan what sushi roles he recommended, and he took the time to walk us through many options and made incredible recommendations. He answered every question we had with such enthusiasm, it made us excited for the sushi we ordered.
First off, we ordered a few appetizers. We got the monkey brain, the fried tofu, and the crab angels. All three were absolutely amazing. The monkey brain was phenomenal and perfect to split between four people. The fried tofu was so good, and the fry on the tofu was divine. I have never had fried tofu like that, highly recommend with the peanut sauce. The crab angels were stuffed and delicious.
For sushi, we had the TR roll, the Diamond roll, the White Dragon roll, the Sea of Love, and the Super Crunch roll. All five of them were insanely good, and it’s hard to even decide which one was the best! I think after a lot of deliberation, we agreed that the Diamond roll just edged out slightly above the others. You cannot go wrong with any of them though.
Additionally, Logan had recommended the Jose sauce as a delicious sauce if we wanted a sauce that was a little spicy. I ordered a side of it and it was absolutely incredible on all the sushi rolls. For me personally it was not spicy enough, and after I mentioned this to Logan, he brought by some extra chili flakes to add to the sauce, and it definitely helped heat up the sauce.
After eating as much sushi we could possibly eat, Logan came back and helped us get the sushi boxed up to go. He asked how far of a drive we had ahead of us, and when we told him two hours, he went and grabbed a couple bags of ice to add to our to go bags. Incredible service, and we are so thankful that he was so thoughtful and helpful.
All in all, 10/10 experience. Delicious food, great service, awesome time. If you are ever thinking about trying this place, you will not be disappointed at all!

I had a great experience at Pacific Rim in Merritt Island. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly, but what really made the visit stand out was the service. Our server, Dylin, was fantastic—very friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.
You can tell he genuinely cares about the guests having a good experience. He checked on us at the right times, gave great recommendations, and kept everything running smoothly. It made the whole dinner feel relaxed and enjoyable.
If you’re in Merritt Island and looking for a great place to eat with excellent service, I definitely recommend Pacific Rim. Ask for Dylin if you can—he’ll take great care of you!

On my recent visit, I enjoyed their Fresh Rolls, edamame, and steamed rice. Everything was fresh, light, and full of flavor. While dining, I noticed a beautiful sushi tray being served to another table, it looked delicious. I can’t wait to come back to try it for myself.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff is attentive and very friendly, and the quality of the ingredients really stands out. Whether you’re in the mood for fresh sushi or flavorful cooked dishes, Pacific Rim is a top choice in Merritt Island.

I’m sure there’s hella excellent reviews for Pacific Rim already, but I felt like I really had to after coming here for so long. In my defense, I thought we had left a review.
Food: just top notch. Fresh. Quality. Top of the line ingredients on prepared dishes. The fish is absolutely delectable and one of the freshest I’ve had.
Atmosphere: super chill, laid back, comfortable, and a nice vibe overall whether you’re seated in the back or the front by the sushi bar.
Service: some people would say I’m biased as we have our preferred server here, but even when he hasn’t been here the experience has been equally as great. It’s a refreshing change. Servers CARE about their tables.
To Pacific Rim Management: you’re doing it right. We’re local and weekly customers. Props to you for having such awesome food and staff. Keep it up.

We’ve been coming here for 10 years and some changes were recently made that aren’t good. Portion sizes have shrunk and the food tastes bland. Also, they don’t serve egg drop or the curry chicken soup everyday and we almost always hit the wrong day! The worst thing, however, is the egg rolls at lunch. They taste rancid. We went there just after New Year’s and I decided to try one and surprisingly it tasted good. Then we went just yesterday and it was back to the rancid, nasty tasting egg rolls (not to mention the over abundance of onions in my shrimp fried rice!). This place has been so good for so long I was willing to overlook the egg rolls but now the rest of the menu is going downhill. I used to be able to get Volcano scallops at lunch but that’s now prohibited. Lots of small things adding up to a lot. Speaking of a lot, $62 for two lunch “specials” and two soft drinks is a lot of money. It used to be you could take half home but not anymore. Looking for a new place for Asian food. Siam Orchid is pretty good
