My daughter and I stopped by to pick up lunch to take home on way back from the airport. She had been there before, and wanted to go there with me this time. I must say both she and I love sushi and sashimi so it’s right up one of our favorite foods alley.
The menu has some predetermined combos, and the best option for us was to customize our bowl and burrito. I chose to get a bowl with a base of brown rice. They had other base options including sushi rice, glass noodles, greens, and more. Next I chose the large bowl option which allows you to choose two proteins. My choice was spicy tuna and spicy salmon, and there were more I may consider next time. I then picked five of the many “mix ins”and chose from unlimited toppings before adding a sauce. For me the mix-ins were scallions, sprouts, seaweed salad, cilantro, and avocado. My toppings were garlic crisps, shredded nori, sesame seeds, and fried shallots. I chose to get the chili aioli on the side.
This bowl was so fresh and good. I was pleasantly surprised and will be back for sure!

Eric was amazing in breaking down the menu, the flavor profile of each item including the sauces, and offered some great recommendations. He was able to tell what type of flavors we enjoy just based on a few questions of our preferences.
Everything in our bowl was fresh, and it was a nice portion size. We had to take some leftovers to go because we couldn’t finish it in store. The shrimp were large, the spicy salmon was fresh, the bbq chicken was amazing, and everything was so well seasoned. Even down to the sauces. I believe the sauces are made in house and they are so good!
We also got to meet John who was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Excited for their rewards program to come soon because we definitely plan to become regulars!

We loved this place! First time here and first time getting poke bowls and we will definitely be back! Husband got the OG and I got the BBQ Chicken bowls and a boba and we loved all of it. Fresh and great flavors, and a little healthier and less processed than a lot of other options in the area.

I had an outstanding experience at Pacific Counter! Eric was so kind and welcoming! He took the time to explain everything to me and even let me try out their sauces! It was so clean and orderly inside the restaurant as well! My poke bowl was delicious and fresh! Highly recommend stopping in!

The best place for poke in Apollo Beach!! Used to drive to their downtown Tampa location just for it. The fish is always fresh and delicious and the toppings are plentiful. Would definitely recommend checking them out. =)

Stopped by Pacific Counter today and had such a great experience! The food was fresh and super tasty. I just met Lola who works there and she was so friendly and welcoming, made the visit even better. What a wonderful staff member and an even more wonderful person. Definitely coming back!

Really wanted to give this place 5 stars, because I usually love their food and service. Unfortunately I went in and picked up an OG bowl to go with sauce on the side. It was dead, only myself and one other person in there and the girl behind the counter didn’t remember to give me the poke sauce, by the time I got home, I wasn’t going back as I live more than 5 miles away. Called and spoke to John and he was kind enough to refund me. I’m just really disappointed that I had this experience. Hopefully the girl behind the counter can get trained a little more, I would have accepted this as a mistake if they were busy but there was no excuse for this.

So I gave this place the benefit of the doubt the first time around and decided to order again. The first time we ordered I got a mixed bowl with rice and greens and the rice was completely saturated with moisture and soggy with a very undesirable texture the second time I ordered I didn’t realize how small the large bowls were. I’ve had poke many other places for many years now, and they’re large is comparable to a regular size bowl. i’m just underwhelmed with her portions as well. I got a bowl with mixed greens and 60% of the bowl is filled with greens. I ordered double proteins and I couldn’t even tell if there was a single serving of protein. In addition, the spicy salmon had a rank taste as if it was past due and spoiled, I’m now concerned I may actually get sick from eating rotten fish. The noodles in the bowl are also soggy and too much moisture. Overall, just very disappointing because I really wanted to have a reliable poke spot in the Apollo Beach area, however, this place did not meet my expectations on two separate occasions.

When this place first opened up, I was so excited to see a health conscious choice in apollo beach. I think I was ordering 3-4x a week if not more the first month they opened then everything changed. The quality of the food went downhill fast. Months went by and tonight I told myself why not give it another try, what a mistake that was. The quality of everything in my bowl was awful. This place is a prime example of a small franchise that the owners get detached from after they start making a little money. It’ll be empty retail space in a year or 2.
