Our server Olivia and General Manager Debbie were outstanding!!! And the food was excellent!!We ordered the coconut shrimp and Sticky Ribs for appetizers, along with the Fish & Chips and Seafood Combo for main courses which came with slaw and salads. We are visiting family in San Diego, California and for dinner decided to try Pacific Catch located at the UTC Mall. The restaurant is very clean, bright, welcoming, and modern. As a starter, we shared the coconut shrimp. I ordered a sea bass dish with mashed potatoes, broccolini, and a blood orange lemonade. All of our dishes/orders were good. Our server Colton was very helpful, when deciding what to order. He made suggestions to compliment my sea bass, and I am satisfied with the choices I selected. Colton was very patient and helpful.

A great place for seafood! I’m a vegetarian whereas my partner isn’t and still this had tons of options for me too!
Food : My partner ordered tacos and I ordered eggplant and both were delicious. The seafood was overall quite fresh
Service : It was great just a bit slow. There were only four parties which were there and two servers yet it took forever for someone to come and help. Nevertheless sweet staff
Atmosphere: The decor inside and outside patio is really nice. In summers not my favourite to sit outside as it’s too hot

I went to Pacific Catch at UTC La Jolla with my best friend, and we honestly had the best time. From the moment we sat down, the vibe was relaxed, fun, and perfect for catching up over amazing food and drinks.
We ordered several dishes to share, and every single one hit. My personal favorite was the clam chowder—so flavorful and packed with actual clams (which I loved). The ceviche was fresh and bright, and the poke was perfectly seasoned and melt-in-your-mouth good. The kimchi fried rice deserves its own shout-out because it was absolutely excellent—savory, comforting, and full of flavor.
And the drinks? So good. We tried a few margaritas, but hands down my favorite was the lychee drink—refreshing, slightly sweet, and dangerously easy to sip.
Overall, great food, great drinks, and even better company. Pacific Catch is definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to, whether it’s for a fun night out with friends or just a solid meal I know will deliver.

Pacific Catch was a great corner location at the mall that had pretty decent food. However, major deductions for the following: Bar had no blender and couldn’t make mixed drinks. My seat was constantly jostled by the person behind me because they were properly to the ground. Service was atrocious. Alex, our server failed to give us napkins/utensils, didn’t give my spouse her drink she ordered and she rarely checked on us and was delayed with our check. Would not return.

Service and atmosphere were fine but I would not recommend any Japanese inspired food here. The shitake miso soup was more shitake soup and if you know shitake that stuff overpowers everything else. It also arrived cold. The hand rolls were too heavy on the rice and sauce.
The best part of the peach cobbler was literally the giant ice cream. The parts that were cobbler left an oddly bitter aftertaste and the fruits looked canned.
