Truly the best steakhouse on Long Island! The ambiance gives off old school steakhouse. The food matches the vibe perfectly. Everything tastes like old school perfection, with the freshest ingredients and highest quality. I’m strictly a tequila drinker, but their blueberry old fashion is so tasty and my go-to drink there!
For 2 of us, to start, we got the bacon-wrapped scallops, a wedge salad and lobster bisque. They were nice enough to split the salad and bisque into 2 and still huge portions. For entree, my filet mignon was cooked perfectly (I always order rare at steakhouses in case it cooks while waiting to come out). The 4 oz lobster tail was THE best lobster tail I’ve ever had in my life! My only regret is I wish I got the bigger one because I wanted more. The true highlight of the meal is the creamed spinach. We ordered 2 of them because we wanted to take some home (the waiter did indeed laugh at us). Believe it or not, the most lackluster item is the mac and cheese – not too flavorful and I had to add a bunch of salt.
We ended with their HUGE and delicious cappuccinos. Can’t say enough good things about this place! Worth every penny!

Decent steakhouse, nice, friendly and attentive staff. Comfortable bar area.
Apps… gave the baked clams a go, not my fave. Scallops.. decent.
Wedge salad with blue cheese is good but the dressing has an orange tint, confusing, I thought it was Russian dressing. Steak temp was a nice medium rare and very tasty..

All these other 5 star reviews are correct – this place knows how to do a steak!! Had to try the Marinated NY Strip Shell Steak – it. was. perfect! Perfect medium rare cook, perfect sear, perfect marinade (and they give you some on the side in case you just want a little more juice – which I did – which I LOVED) The bartender was awesome and attentive, and the decor is like an old school steakhouse. Yeah you’re gonna drop some $$$ – but they deliver at the level you would (and should) expect for a fine dining steakhouse!

Good suggestion from a friend. The food was flavorful, the service was good, and there was a cozy old style steakhouse feel. We will definitely go back.

It was very crowded so we were asked to look at a table in the bar area to see if we would like it.
Seemed like a good table, and it was. It was not overly loud, even though it was crowded. The waiters were very pleasant and attentive and the food, as always, was amazing. Cooked exactly how we requested. The drinks were great.
We have been here several times and always had a positive experience.
We will definitely be back.

Food was excellent. I had lobster au poivre for my first time on any steak and it was delightful. Very accommodating. Was able to make a sesame crusted tuna special into an appetizer portion; was delicious!

Will look forward to coming back again!

I’m writing this review specifically to address the meal I ordered and not the restaurant experience as a whole. Everything else was wonderful & top notch. My husband ordered the rib eye steak & it was perfect. I chose the special dish of broiled seafood platter as I loved the seafood choices. I asked the waiter how it was prepared. I was I told it was “oreganatta style”, sautéed with lemon, butter, garlic, white wine & paprika & sprinkled with bread crumbs” It arrived with no breadcrumbs and sitting in a pool of a very oily, pungent red colored sauce & had a strong aroma of cumin(?). I ate only the lobster tail as it wasn’t sitting in the sauce & 1/2 of a scallop. When I googled “oreganatta” style seafood it appears to be what the waiter described but not what I was served. The overwhelming oiliness & cumin aroma/flavor made it unpalatable to me. I did mention to the waiter that it didn’t appear to be prepared the way he had described & he simply noted it was “red from paprika”, no other explanation or offer to substitute or anything. I was sorely disappointed & will stick with steak in the future.

One of the few steakhouses that gets medium rare RIGHT! The food was absolutely delicious as usual, and the service the night we went was unmatched! It was our first anniversary the night we visited (09/29) and our night was lovely 🙂 Shoutout to the servers we had that night- you were AWESOME!

Ambiance (5/5): The inside reminds me of a nicely decorated home– walls lined with mirrors and paintings, nice ceiling lighting, mood lighting, moderately fancy dining setting. The inside is moderately loud with the establishment divided into 3 different areas, one shared with the bar. We sat in a booth which proved to be a fairly tight space and dimly lit.
Service (5/5): We visited during Father’s Day. I’m not sure if it is typical or not, but we had two dedicated servers (Sarah and Conor?) throughout our whole dining experience. As such, we felt attended to 100% throughout our entire experience. Both were delightful in providing us not only prompt but also courteous treatment. Other bussing services came around to refill waters and clear out tables appropriately as well. Manager came to check in toward the end of the experience too!
Food
Table Bread (5/5): The toasted buttered and seasoned bread was phenomenal. It was fresh and not too toasted that it was soft yet crispy. There were also some included crackers along with a small side of whipped butter.
Side of salad (5/5): The choice of variety of dressings. The creamy cucumber dressing (recommended by our server) did not disappoint. I was very happy that the salad was generous in the variety in all kinds of fresh vegetables.
Our table opted for 2 of the day’s specials:
1 appetizer: Pace’s Slab Bacon (5/5) had a very smoky taste and the taste was not the same without all elements presented on the plate: tomato, white onion, and tomato spread. Enjoyed together, the bite was delicious.
Stuffed Salmon (3/5): The salmon was very tender and the stuffed component has a very mushy texture. With the sauce providing a very creamy and buttery aftertaste to the meal. It was so rich that without a base of starch (like rice or pasta) or any vegetables for that matter, I need something to soak up the rest. However, very filling and deliciously seasoned. The lack of any sides kind of left me wanting more even for an entrée.
Porterhouse for 2 (3/5): The biggest disappointment for us was the porterhouse. I think we were at least expecting it to be cooked to our liking which was supposed to be “medium” and it was definitely on the “medium-rare” side. The meat itself was pretty tough to chew/cut/eat and hardly seasoned to enjoy on it’s own unlike other steaks we’ve had. The charring tastes did not come through.
We were plenty full after just ordering 1 app and 2 dishes for our party of 4. Overall, the service was exceptional.
