I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every dish was full of authentic Thai flavours — perfectly balanced, aromatic, and cooked to perfection.
The seafood dishes were especially impressive — fresh, generous portions, and packed with flavour. The curries were rich and creamy, the stir-fries were vibrant and perfectly seasoned, and the grilled dishes were tender and juicy. You can really taste the quality ingredients in every bite.
The presentation of the food was stunning, and everything arrived hot and freshly prepared. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making the whole dining experience even better.
Great atmosphere, excellent service, and fantastic value for money. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Thai cuisine!
A true hidden gem
Portion sizes fair and prices reasonable.
Service was friendly and attentive.
The food is not only delicious but also very reasonably priced. In fact, considering the portion sizes and quality, they could easily charge more. The highlight for me was the beef massaman curry. It was absolutely incredible — generous chunks of tender, falling-apart beef in a thick, creamy, flavour-packed sauce. One of the best massaman curries I’ve ever had.
A friend insisted I try their salt and pepper chips, which are apparently famous among locals, and now I understand why. Hands down the best chips I’ve ever tasted. I have no idea what they do to them, but they’re dangerously addictive — I could happily eat them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Overall, Paccata is a gem in Crouch End. Great food, generous portions, lovely staff, and fantastic value. Highly recommend!
So warm and friendly staff.
We ordered the mixed starter, which consists of a selection of their most popular starters, everything tasted great, I especially loved the spring rolls, they definitely weren’t shop bought, cooked from frozen.
For our main, it was the king prawn Pad Thai, Chicken fried rice, stir fried pork neck with spicy sauce and a mixed salad. For drinks we ordered the iced Thai tea and Lemon drink, so refreshing and tasty.
When the dishes arrived, staff pushed the empty table next to us to create a more spacious table. So attentive and thoughtful.
Once it started getting really busy, we asked them to take back their extra table for the customers.
We got chatting with the couple on the next table, they told us they were here last night, as it was late, they ordered takeaway, and they enjoyed it so much, they returned again for an eat in meal. I think they also ordered the mixed started and two spicy fish dishes.
Will definitely visit again.
The first sip of their Tom Yum literally gave me strength after being unwell for few days. Knowing that I was a bit sick the very kind staff offered me for a ginger tea ( it is best for flu) tho it was not on the menu. We had squid ,chicken wings, and papaya salad for starter, pad thai and tomyum, and we didnt holding our self back for yummy pandan crepes as a dessert.
I would say the price quite cheap considering we ordered a lot of food.
The vibes is very calm and intimate. The lighting makes everything romantic. Really enjoyed my evening there.
All in all a positive dining experience, Thank You
