New place for us. Glad to have more Puerto Rican representation around as a sit down restaurant. We went for bacalaitos and alcapurrias (yes I put ketchup on mine) which were delicious. They have ready to serve food but didn’t have any this time around. We will be back to have lunch.

Another great spot for authentic Puertorican food. Great location and a simple menu with all the requirements you expect when on the island. The empanadillas (empanadas) were pretty hefty on the meat.

Some time last week I finally visited after so much time wanting to visit after seeing on social media.

The guy that tended to us was very nice.
Place was very clean.
Vibe was great w the jukebox.
Food looked presentable but did not have flavor. We ordered from the display and food wasn’t hot.
Rice texture was like uncle Ben’s rice and needed salt.
Steak and peppers didn’t really have flavor although meat was very tender. Chicken in sauce didn’t have much flavor.
Tostones were great.
Maduros were ok.
Flancocho was dry.
Piñones was very dry as it was the last one maybe but def sat all day.

He asked us how it was but gave thumbs up because I thought if I got it home n reheated it to very hot it would be better but it wasn’t.

I like my Puerto Rican food to have some flavor especially w sofrito but almost tasted like it had very little but def no adobo or salt was noticed.

Only pic I have is the dessert because it’s still in fridge. 🙁

Okay, listen up.

I have been in the area for almost 14 years now and have explored many Hispanic eateries. But this little gem falls into the “You” must go to place.

Their food was off the charts. Besides, where can you find a place that has elephant ear size bacalaitos and piononos as an appetizer?

Their alcapurria had the original island flavors/taste as well.

Their lunch spread was extensive.

You can bet I’ll be back here

Pa Piñones — A Must-Try Puerto Rican Food Truck!

Pa Piñones is incredible! The food is bursting with authentic Puerto Rican flavor—easily some of the best I’ve had. The mofongo was absolutely amazing—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The service was super friendly and welcoming, and the outdoor covered seating made for a relaxed and enjoyable experience. If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and check this place out. Pa Piñones is a must-try!

I usually cook my own food however I decided to try this place out. I was very pleased with how fresh and authentic the food was, flavorful enough not overpowering. Clean place and great customer service.

I rarely write a review immediately after eating somewhere. Today I stumbled into this place by accident and man I am SO HAPPY I did. I’ve always had Puerto Rican food (having lived in Kissimmee), and recently went to Puerto Rico and had food at the beaches in Piñones. This was seriously the closest I’ve had to food from the island. Their Tostones Al ajillo were like the ones at the Chinese restaurants in Carolina, PR. Their Alcapurria tasted just like one I had at Piñones at the kioskos. The empanadilla was good and tasted really fresh. Their bacalaoito wasn’t as crispy as I’d like, but it was a 25 min drive between stopping for gas and all. So that’s on me 100%. Can’t wait to go back this weekend and try the tripleta. He chatted with the owner while I waited for my food. It was seriously one of the best PR food I’ve eaten that wasn’t in Kissimmee or PR.
