A very nice restaurant with friendly service. It’s cozy and clean inside. The service is helpful and fast. I ordered Tom Kha soup – very good! and Pad Thai with shrimp, which I highly recommend. My friend also ordered coconut shrimp, which were also good! They have great tea. I recommend it and enjoy your meal!

this fine little place is a hidden gem!…first, a wonderful watermelon, lychee, and mint N/A cooler that was deliciously refreshing…a daily special appetizer of chicken, corn, and pineapple fritters with a sweet chili sauce was very savory with a tiny bit of spice that was perfectly balanced by small chunks of grilled pineapple served with it…my companion had one of the daily entree specials: a crunchy deep fried soft shell crab served over a yummy green curry which she absolutely loved…my own entree was a very generous serving of Pad Kee Moaw (Drunken Noodles) with tender pork, fresh string beans, carrots etc and excellent wide rice noodles… delicious!

We love coming to Pa De! It’s our favorite Thaï restaurant in the area; we drive up from Hoboken and have been coming here for 4+ years. My personal go-to choices are the massaman curry (with tofu) which is loaded with potatoes & onions, and the pad thai–my partner loves the grilled pork fried rice & pad thai. When we dine in, we also order some other delicious items: for drinks, the lychee lemonade & Thai iced teas are 10/10, and for appetizers, the roti canai & chicken wontons are our faves. The staff is kind & the owner is a wonderful human who greets us warmly whenever we return. Could not recommend more highly!

Just moved to the area and my boyfriend and I were looking for a go-to Thai spot and I am so glad we came here! Went tonight for dinner and service was quick and friendly, everything was delicious, flavorful, and hot. We had lots of leftovers to take home as well. I am a vegetarian but my boyfriend is not and we both had ample amounts of options. We both got Thai iced teas, split an order of vegetable dumplings, and each got an entree for $50. I cannot wait to come back!

I recently dined at Pa De and was thoroughly impressed! From the moment we walked in, the cozy and romantic ambiance set the perfect tone for the evening. We started with a delightful Thai iced tea and shared appetizers of calamari and spring rolls, both perfectly crispy and delicious. The pad thai was flavorful and cooked to perfection, making it a standout dish. The brownie with ice cream and the sticky rice with mango were the perfect sweet endings to our meal—the sticky rice with mango was particularly unique and memorable. The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive, frequently checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. The restaurant was spotless, adding to the overall pleasant experience. We had such a fantastic meal at Pa De — everything was bursting with flavor! The Thai iced tea was rich, creamy, and perfectly sweet. The calamari was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and paired with a delicious dipping sauce that really elevated it.
The highlight of our meal was the chicken Pad Kee Mao — spicy, savory, and packed with fresh veggies and Thai basil. It had just the right amount of heat and depth of flavor.
Friendly service, a warm atmosphere, and top-notch food — Pa De is definitely a new favorite. We’ll be back soon!

Ordered this via Uber Eats. It was over an hour late, not the restaurants fault but when it arrived it was blazing hot!! The order was prepared an hour earlier so the only explanation was they microwaved everything. Upon opening the dish the sweet and sour container that was tucked into the blazing hot popcorn shrimp container was melted onto the shrimp. I had to discard a quarter of it right away. I tried a few of them and they were the opposite of edible. I couldn’t chew into any of them – imagine eating one hour old popcorn shrimp that was zapped in a microwave. I would have preferred eating these cold over whatever they did to them. Overall, don’t order their popcorn shrimp to go if this is the outcome. I then opened the rice and looking inside it wasn’t even filled up, and it looked like someone tampered with it and dumped it out then put it back into the container. The rice was soooo soggy it was almost mashed potatoes. In my 25+ years eating Thai food this was one of the worst mixes and dishes I’ve ever ordered and I love tai food, even cold tai food.

I went to Pa De Thai in Edgewater with my girlfriend yesterday & it is an absolute gem! The food was absolutely delicious—full of rich, authentic flavors and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was a hit, especially the massaman curry & pineapple fried rice. Oh and our dessert the mango sticky rice THE BOMB! The service was just as impressive warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving amazing Thai food and top-notch hospitality we will 100% be back !
