First timer at P Terrys. The reviews on Google were good for this location and I had a bogo deal on UberEats so I decided to get some double cheeseburgers, fries and shakes.
Arriving at the location the building was brightly lit and very modern yet retro. The drive thru was going strong but we used the parallel parking spot and picked up our order inside.
We were immediately greeted by the gentleman at the counter who had our food ready.
A short drive back to our room at the Hyatt w and we were digging in. The burgers were prepared as orders and tasty. Fries were crisp. The Oreo and double chivalry shakes were outstanding and made a great dessert.
Highly recommend P. Terry’s when you want a burger or shake.

Service was outstanding! There was so much laughter and positive energy from the team that it honestly stood out. I’ve visited a lot of fast food restaurants, but I can’t remember the last time I saw a staff that genuinely seemed happy to be there.
Whoever is leading this location is doing something right. The crew working Saturday, March 7th around 3 PM deserves recognition. Their attitude completely changed the experience from a simple food stop into something memorable.

I have been a loyal customer at this P. Terry’s and have spent a lot of money here over time, but the level of customer service at this location is consistently disappointing. What should be a simple and friendly dining experience is often overshadowed by unnecessary conflict and a clear disregard for customer satisfaction.
The ongoing issue is over something as small as condiments. Every time I ask for ketchup or sauce, I’m met with resistance. Instead of providing them with my order, I’m told ketchup can only be served in tiny portion cups, and sauces can only be sold with bites. This feels less like customer service and more like an employee creating rules of his own.
Luis, who I confirmed was the manager on duty, has repeatedly been the source of these negative experiences. Rather than listening to concerns, he argues and takes a dismissive attitude. On my most recent visit, when I tried to explain my frustration, he told me to “go ahead and call the 1-800 number” because he didn’t care. Hearing that from someone representing the company—especially from the manager on duty—was shocking. I told him that it was a shame he was the one in charge, because no guest should be treated that way.
The food itself is good, and that’s the only reason I’ve continued to return, but customer service is just as important as food quality. When a manager openly tells a customer they don’t care and encourages them to escalate their complaint instead of resolving it, it reflects poorly on the entire brand.
Because of these repeated experiences, I can only give this location two stars. I sincerely hope corporate and upper management take a hard look at how this store is being run, because right now it does not represent the values or the reputation P. Terry’s is known for.

Had a great experience at P. Terry’s in San Antonio! The food was fresh, flavorful, and affordable ,exactly what you’d want from a good burger spot. The burgers were juicy and made to order, the fries were perfectly crispy, and the milkshake was the perfect sweet finish. The staff was friendly and the service was quick, even during a busy lunch hour. Loved the clean, retro-style atmosphere too. Definitely coming back!

Value here is excellent. With in n out as the bar for comparison, the same amount of food here is about the same price. Fries here are way better. Burgers are solid – not quite in n out level but very very close. Great meal especially for the cost. Beats out Burger Boy by a mile.

I only gave 4 stars because I’m not a fan of the sauce. But my son got a burger plain and dry and it was delicious. The food is hot and fresh, the service is fast and friendly and the atmosphere is immaculate. From the parking lot to the restaurant, everything is spotless. I will definitely be back for a plain and dry burger.

Have you ever had breakfast at P.Terry’s? Well you should. For less than the cost of a pricey coffee at another place with a star, I got a hot breakfast that was filling and didn’t make me feel guilty with junky ingredients. The egg & cheese sandwhich was amazing. The breakfast potatoes were a last second add-on and I’m so glad I did. Crispy, salty, hot, fresh! So dang good. Definitely going to have breakfast here more often. Great food, filling, and didn’t break the bank!
