Pterry’s is usually our family’s go to spot for fast food but lately the quality of fries has been awful. Taste stale and too crunchy. Fries? More like veggie straws. This time I sent my husband back inside to have them remade. They remade them the exact same way. Husband asked the manager if there is a standard quality for the fries and he told us it depends on the day for what you get. Awesome. These went straight in the trash can. Probably won’t be back for awhile.

Great food always but this place was filthy dirty and it was not busy at all. There was lots of trash by the drink station and I told the cashier to pass me a broom so I can clean it up since I didn’t really mimd. He said he would take care of it and 30 mins passed and nothing and it was slow till one of the drive thru girls started cleaning up.

I held off on leaving a review because i came to this location often and I felt that if I left a review about my experience, the workers would know it was me and I didn’t want that to affect future visits. I didn’t end up going back though because I’m afraid of this happening again. I want to note here that before this experience, I came here all the time, never had any issues and I continue to go to the other location in New Braunfels, so I am familiar with what to expect from their food. The last time I went, I got my usual order- a cheeseburger lettuce wrapped. When I took a bite, it had way too much pepper on it. Again, I order this all the time, I know they season their patties and it has never been an issue for me until this visit. I went back inside and politely asked if they could remake it for me because there was too much pepper for me. The girl at the register wasn’t very friendly, but she said she would have them make it with no seasoning. I didn’t think no seasoning was necessary, but i thanked her anyway and sat down to wait. From my seat, I could see her walk to the cook. I knew they were talking about me because they kept looking my way. The cook looked very annoyed to remake it, and I get it, its inconvenient when you are trying to get other orders out, but I was nothing but kind and patient about it. They continued to look my way while they were remaking my order, and I just felt like they were judging me. Maybe it was all in my head but the look on their faces and the way they kept looking over at me made me feel like they thought I was just some stupid white girl who thought pepper was spicy. Still, when they handed me the food I thanked them again, to which I received no response. If it ended there, I might not have decided to leave a review, but when I went back to my car to eat my food, my burger was even more spicy than the first one. Again, believe me when I say I order this all the time, i have never had a problem with their seasoning, nor have I ever been sensitive to pepper. It was so bad my lips were red and burning, but there was no way I was going back in there again after the way they acted to I just powered through it. I had to run over to Dutch bros for milk because my mouth was on fire. Call me crazy but I felt like they did it on purpose.

Out working for a few weeks and realized that they have In-N-Out Burger out here. I went to try it. I was so disappointed. I hadn’t been to one in about 15 yrs because I never really thought they were any good. So needless to say, they left me craving a real good home-cooked type cheeseburger. I had never heard of P. Terry’s until one of my co-workers told me to come try it. You people up here in these parts of Texas aren’t even aware of how lucky you are to have such a good hamburger joint here.
The French fries were great. I wouldn’t even get me started on a double cheeseburger. Burger was so fresh and cheesy! The beef patties were full of flavor! I wrote this review before I was even done eating my meal, that’s how good this place was! I wish this place was packed like that other burger chain place I think they have a fantastic product and great service. Support your local burger joint!

We’ve just tried P. Terry’s this week and we’re pleased with the taste of their cheese burgers, fries, and drinks. It’s a great value at 8.00 per combo. We also tried the banana bread. It was moist and tasted delicious. I wished it had nuts but that’s not an option. We went back tonight.

Im so sad to leave such a bad review because I love this place. Ive been here before and the employees have been awesome! Well, it wasn’t the case today. Lady in drive thru wasn’t pleasant and they gave me a cheeseburger instead of a double. Im a big guy and a kids size burger just doesn’t cut it! Thanks for forcing me to go eat somewhere else guys….

I’ve been holding on writing this review because PTerry’s is so beloved to me.
It has been our go to spot since it opened, usually going at least once a week.
I don’t know what happened but there has consistently been quality issues and issues with staff.
Whenever I order now, I have to hope that things are fresh and warn people about it when they decide they want PTerrys.
But the main reason I’m making this review is because they’ve gotten my order wrong for the last time. I’m very gracious and will always eat what’s in front of me but it gets frustrating after awhile.
Pterrys in cibolo has gotten my order wrong at least 4 times in the last 3 months.
Today I ordered a crispy chicken burger with extra pickles, I got a double cheeseburger with nothing on it.
So, I paid more, didn’t get what i asked for and have to look like the bad guy going back inside to get my actual burger. I didn’t and just ate this sad burger.
I will still be attending pterrys regularly but, if wrong food and *sometimes* rude staff is a deal breaker for you, I wouldn’t.

This was my first time trying P Terry’s, while looking at the menu for the first time I had some questions, and instead of getting impatient (which some restaurants do) , a staff member by the name Isaiah walked me through the most popular items and was very friendly as well as actually making my order, which I am very appreciative of. The inside of the restaurant was clean for the most part, and my honest review of the food is good, I got the #3 Signature Double, the wait time was about 5 minutes, and I’d definitely recommend P Terry’s to anyone looking for a good tasting price friendly burger.

This was our first time trying them out and my kids loved it so much that they are begging us to move closer to their restaurant so we can eat it daily lol. The cashier was the sweetest woman ever so will definitely return since she was an absolute pleasure to interact with. The food was delicious and at such an affordable price so has now turned into a family favorite!
