Relaxed option for all-natural beef burgers, shoestring fries & milkshakes, plus breakfast.

Tried the burgers here for the first time and I wasn’t disappointed. The beef was moist, the bun was fresh, and for the price, it really hits the spot. You definitely get good value for what you spend.
I do wish the fries were a little crispier, but overall it was a solid experience. Bonus points for the friendly and courteous staff, and my dogs were even treated to a cookie 🙂 nice touch! Will definitely be back.

Our first time visiting this location! I do want to point out the drive-through design—it could use improvement. The exit should lead straight out to the feeder, because when the drive-through line is full, cars trying to leave get stuck and can’t exit easily.
On the positive side, the burger and fries were tasty. Right now, it’s quicker to walk up and place your order (about 10 minutes) compared to waiting in the drive-through (around 25 minutes). Hopefully, as things settle down, the drive-through process will be much faster next time.

P. Terry’s Burger Stand was just as good as I remember nearly 20 years ago when I had my very first bite back in Austin, Texas. This Richmond location is fairly new, and my wife had already been here before, so I was excited to finally check it out. The decor instantly pulls you in with its cool 60s retro small-town vibes — even down to the Tiffany-blue color accents on the building, which really make it pop.
One thing to note: there’s no dine-in seating here. It’s either drive-thru or walk-up window ordering, but they make it easy with a double drive-thru lane that really helps keep things moving. The location itself is super convenient, right off the feeder road, so you really can’t miss it.
We decided on a late lunch and ordered two cheeseburger meals and one crispy chicken bites meal. Our food came out in about 10 minutes, which was reasonable. The cheeseburgers are on the smaller side, so next time I’ll definitely go for a double — and I’ll skip the iceberg lettuce since that’s not my thing. Still, the burger was excellent: fresh, juicy, and you can taste the difference in their all-natural Angus beef, free from hormones and antibiotics.
The fries, though, absolutely stole the show. They’re Idaho Burbank potatoes, hand-cut with the skin on, and fried to crispy perfection. Easily some of my favorite fries around. Staff was super friendly and attentive, double-checking the order when we pulled up. Overall, tasty food, great vibes, affordable prices, and service with a smile — definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby.

Great alternative if you don’t live near In n Out. Menu is super easy to read and order from. Definitely get the double cheese burger ! The drive through line tend to get busy at random times, so expect a wait. Burger was filling for only $5-6. I’d definitely come back next time I’m in the Aliana area of town!

I finally tried this place for lunch earlier today. I must say the burger was delicious! It tasted very fresh.
I must admit I thought it was pretty small(even though I got the double meat burger). I thought the fries were decent. I felt like it could have been cooked a bit more. The service was excellent. I highly recommend this place. Now the only problem is this: was it better than the burgers at In-n-Out? I’m still not sure.

This place opened up a few months ago, and I’ve learned to give new spots some time to work out the kinks. Orders are cooked to order, so be prepared to wait – even if you order ahead. The prices seem to be the main attraction, but the food I got didn’t quite live up in terms of flavor. On the plus side, the Oreo shake was pretty good for the price. I won’t be rushing back, but I might give them another shot down the line. Pro tip: if you’re getting the nuggets, be sure to ask for sauce – they won’t offer it unless you request it.

To cut to the chase, the food here didn’t really stand out at all for me. I got a double cheese burger and a crispy chicken sandwich with fries. I couldn’t finish it all because it just wasn’t as good as I thought it was. The chicken felt like frozen chicken patties. There was no sauce for either burgers, just mayo, and it overall tasted very plain.
That being said, the prices for said food are reasonable. They definitely beat out a lot of fast food chains.
The service was great. It was the day after their grand opening, so it was a little busier than usual, but they were still quite quick with my order.
Overall, I feel like you’re going here for the price versus the taste. It was my first time trying P. Terry’s and this location and its staff were great. The only thing I was let down was the taste of the food, which was not the staff’s fault.

First time ever trying P. Terry’s and was not disappointed! Double Cheeseburger was hot and fresh! Tasted fresh. Loved the fries and how seasoned/crunchy some were! I got a peach tea too and it was pretty good too. Friendly workers here too! Will be back! Pretty reasonably priced too.

I’m so angry, today I ordered a cheeseburger without tomato. I come home and open up my cheeseburger and see that there’s no cheese they could not take my order properly. Why wouldn’t I want cheese if I ordered a cheeseburger? Also, I live in Sugarland so it was a 20 minute drive for me. I emphasize twice that I do not want tomato in my burger, but instead took out the cheese.

I got the Double Cheeseburger and fries, and it was worth every penny. The quality was impressive for such a low price—the burger was hot, fresh, and perfectly put together with a soft, round bun that wasn’t flattened like at other fast food spots. The beef was juicy, the cheese melted perfectly, and the fries were crisp and satisfying. Even though I usually eat more than just a double cheeseburger, the combo left me completely full. It’s a drive-thru-only spot, but the line moves fast, so the wait wasn’t an issue at all. I’d definitely come back again.
