P-Reaux’s is a family owned and operated restaurant in Yazoo that offers Cajun American food. We make everything from Po-Boys and Hamburgers to Ribeyes and Charbroiled Oysters. Vast menu that we add new things to seasonally, definitely something for everyone!

Had dinner with colleagues and it was really good! Had the two meat poboy, boudin ball, corn nuggets, and fried mushroom appetizers. It was so filling!!!! The waiters were nice, we were not rushed out, and the food was definitely worth the price. It took two days to finish my meal. Highly recommend. My colleagues thanked me for choosing this restaurant

We always look for unique places to eat while on a trip. Well Preaux, was it! We had the gumbo, frog legs, catfish basket, catfish tacos and a cheeseburger! It was ALL delicious. Highly recommend, if your driving through Mississippi, make a trip to Yazoo City and eat at Preaux’s!!

The catfish was wonderful perfectly season and fried to perfection. The fries we well seasoned crispy on the outside soft on the inside. That tater sauce was the bomb I give it 5 stars. I wish the pieces were a little bit bigger but for $10 it was good

P-Reaux’s is awesome! Fun and laid-back atmosphere, literally the most awesome friend oysters and alligator bites! All the seafood is well seasoned, fresh, and sizzling hot! Service is great, too. Ask to be seated in the school bus! Too cute!

Arrived about 6:30 on a Wednesday with a large group and were seated immediately as the restaurant wasn’t very busy. It’s a dive kind of place so the atmosphere is just that…which I don’t mind. It’s the lack of air conditioning in 100° summer heat made the experience more unpleasant. It was hot inside!
They had several window units throughout but no way to keep it cool considering the structure. Not the place to go to eat during the heat of the summer.
We ordered the fried green beans and boudin ball; both were delicious! Also got half dozen oysters on the half shell that were good sized and the pound of peel and eat shrimp plate (comes with 1/2 corn on the cob, one small new potato, and one small piece of sausage). The shrimp and sides were seasoned well however the shrimp weren’t deveined…and I couldn’t bring myself to clean them at the table to eat.
The beer/wine selection is typical of this kind of dive. They had the regular stuff and a couple options for truly and high noon. The service was excellent and others with us complimented their meals.
The security guy helped to stop traffic for all of us to back out on a busy highway when we left which i thought was super nice!
I would go back- but not in the summer time and I would def order something different next time…I just can’t do shrimp with a mud vein in it.

Great service, unique environment and good food. We got raw oysters and 5lbs of crawfish. Oysters were fresh and tasty but the crawfish lacked spice. We learned too late there was some flavor and spice in the bottom of the serving tray, but even that was just meh. Pricing was acceptable.
