If you are looking for a quaint Irish Pub nestled in a suburb of Cleveland, this is your kinda place. The inside has a magical Irish feeling. The “Pub” feel is definitely there, the only complaint I would have is how loud it gets. I has the Fish and Chips. The fish piece was large but a little too dry inside. Great coleslaw but I wouldn’t order the twisty fries again, not very good. We did start with the Artichoke Dip with the Boxty Chips and it was amazing, get this! My husband got the Boxty with Cornbeef. Thought it was pretty tasty but he was slightly disappointed. Overall, it was a fun experience.

Great Food, Great Service, and it’s a pub 😛

We got the Ruben Egg Rolls, the Pot Roast Dinner, and a Burger.
The Egg Rolls were huge, could almost have been a meal for 1 person. Super hot and came with a ton of 1,000 Island Dressing. Burger was perfectly cooked. And the Pot Roast Dinner tasted exactly how my Grandma used to make it.

The service was great. A bartender/Manager was wiping tables as customers were leaving. Maggie took great care of us on our Anniversary.

The place was clean, bright, and easy enough to talk to each other.

P.J. McIntyre’s Irish Pub delivers exactly what you want from a neighborhood pub—and then goes well beyond expectations. From the moment our group arrived, it was clear that this is a place that knows how to handle both food and atmosphere while keeping service top-notch.
We came in with a group of seven and were impressed right away by the seating options. Whether you prefer reserved seating, walk-in tables, or hanging out in the bar area, P.J. McIntyre’s has it covered. Our reserved seating was ready on time, comfortable, and perfectly positioned to enjoy the football game playing on the TVs. Sports fans will appreciate the clear views and lively but not overwhelming energy—it’s social, not chaotic.
The food was outstanding across the board. There truly is something for everyone on the menu, whether you’re in the mood for classic Irish pub fare or more familiar comfort foods. Appetizers came out hot, fresh, and generously portioned, making them perfect for sharing. Every entrée ordered at our table was met with enthusiastic approval, with no complaints or letdowns. Quality, flavor, and consistency were all clearly priorities in the kitchen.
The beer selection deserves special recognition. P.J. McIntyre’s offers an impressive variety, catering to both casual drinkers and craft beer enthusiasts alike. From traditional Irish options to popular domestics and craft selections, everyone in our group found something they enjoyed. Drinks were poured well, served promptly, and stayed consistent throughout the evening.
One of the most impressive aspects of the visit was the value. Our total bill came to about $200 for seven people, which included dinner, drinks, and appetizers. In today’s dining climate, that kind of pricing for the quality and quantity of food and drink is exceptional. It felt like we got more than our money’s worth without any sense of being rushed or upsold.
The service tied everything together perfectly. Our server was attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, checking in regularly without hovering. Orders were accurate, timing was spot-on, and any requests were handled quickly and professionally. It’s clear the staff takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
Overall, P.J. McIntyre’s Irish Pub strikes the perfect balance between great food, a fun and comfortable atmosphere, excellent service, and outstanding value. Whether you’re stopping in to watch a game, enjoy a relaxed dinner with friends, or grab a few drinks at the bar, this place delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended, and definitely a spot we’ll be returning to again soon.

I live in Dublin and was looking for a good Guinness. Unfortunately probably one of the worst pours I’ve had. The head should not have bubbles and it was not creamy at all.

Omg this place is charming and comfy, filled with laughter and good times. The staff was kind and chill. I got Fatheads iPa sunshine daydream beer…mistakes made no fault of the pubs. I loved everything well seasoned and spiced. The Irish coffee was warm and rich had a coconut like finish. The BBQ chicken salad had all the marks of a Mexican corn salad roasty and each nugget of corn was delicious and juicy . Further more their Ruben egg rolls are delicious as well the wrap is perfectly crispy and Cheesy down to the last bite with or without sauce it’s flipping tasty. Now….let me tell you about their toffee cake it’s screaming smooth and rich balanced and sweet. Was a wonderful and pleasant experience sitting in and chilling with the peeps of P.J’s thank you for serving us and your community.

Hosted a private event recently. Reserved downstairs area. Affordable. Flexible with food/drink options for guests.

What made us pick the venue was the affordability + flexibility w/ our food & drink options.

Always been going here as a kid. Nice to see it still kid friendly for the next generations to come & build memories at.

We were in Cleveland for just one day, and our first stop was P.J. McIntyre’s Irish Pub—and what a fantastic choice! This is a solid, classic Irish pub with a welcoming atmosphere. The bartenders were friendly, and when we chatted with the manager about how we love visiting pubs wherever we go and enjoy trying local beers, he generously gave us a free beer.

The hospitality here was truly outstanding, and if we’re ever back in Cleveland, this spot will definitely be at the top of our list to revisit! Thank you from your friend in Minnesota.

Great atmosphere and good food. Lots of TVs classic pub feel, I ordered tge pulled pork Mac and cheese and the corned beef boxty and they were both generous portions and good eats. I also ordered the boneless wings although I would skip out on these as they were small, dry and not very good. Service was alright, could be better.

It was a great experience. The Irish egg rolls were a neat twist. I loved the curry for the chips. Takes me back to the UK. My black and tan was a great pour. My fish was giant and crisp. The house chips were nice and salty. My wife enjoyed her chicken wrap. The bread pudding was so yummy, rich, and flavorful. The irish whiskey sauce was tasty on top. Downside was that they do not carry Moscato. It would be cool to have trivia there too.
