Man was this the best freaking place I’ve been to out here in Bakersfield. That’s my personal opinion, for now -Originally from Los Angeles- since there’s many more restaurants I want to visit here in Bakersfield. So when I first arrived they said half hour wait so I said yes. At the end it turned out to be an hour wait I was going to leave but I had waited long enough to just leave after all. I’M GLAD I WAS PATIENT. The food was amazing and full of flavor, the waitresses were extremely polite and on top of making sure customer expectations were being met, I think the reason for that is all the staff there really communicate with one another to have things running smooth. They weren’t clingy either. The experience overall was extremely better than the price me and my wife paid for our meals. Definitely won’t be my last visit. Amazing job to all the staff there.

Went came here for Father’s day since it didn’t have a wait time, It should have been a red flag. The server took a bit to greet us, once we ordered our drink my wife asked for sweetener for her tea which never came. The food is comparable to B rated fast food Chinese restaurant. My daughter became ill from the sushi, I informed the front desk who said they where calling the manager, we paid and left and not once did we see or speak to the manager. First time at P.F Changs, unfortunately will also be our last.

The food had rich flavors and the atmosphere was pretty neat. Service took a while for extra refills and such, but everyone was extremely friendly. I am rating it 4 stars due to how expensive the food is for how small the portions are. I’d much rather go to another local restaurant and spend the same amount of money, but get much more food. The flaming “fire and ice” dessert is kind of neat, but was lacking quite a bit on flavor (maybe it burned off), lol. Anyways, if you’re into spending more money for fancy plates and a decent atmosphere: this place is for you. We, however, will not be returning. It’s worth it to try at least once and we’re glad we went.
