This was my very first time at P.F. Chang’s—never been before and hadn’t even tried their frozen meals from the grocery store. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised.
We started with the Chicken Lettuce Wraps, and they were excellent. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned—I already can’t wait to come back for them again. We also had the vegetable spring rolls, which came with a tasty chili sauce that added just the right amount of kick without overpowering the flavor.
Overall, a great first impression. Looking forward to exploring more of the menu on my next visit!
Today was the final straw. We called twice to confirm a reservation for nine to celebrate a birthday. When we arrived, they had no record of us. After waiting for a table to be setup, the service was just as disorganized. Multiple orders were wrong; one was sent back twice. By the time the final three people received their corrected meals, the other six were already finished. A birthday celebration is about eating together, and this experience completely fractured our evening. It’s a shame to see a former favorite fall this far. We’ll be finding somewhere else to celebrate from now on.
We went here for the 5 course valentines meal as our first date was at a P.F. Chang’s. I made a reservation and showed up on time. It took 30 minutes to be greeted at our table, another long wait to get our drinks and we never received refills after even after asking 2 people for refills. We received course 2 first(soup) then course 4 (main entree). We asked of course 1 or 3 were coming. They then brought out course 1 (sushi) crusty and the sauce on top had seeped into the rice and dried. You could tell it had been sitting on that plate for hours. Then Course 3 came out (lobster dumplings) they were fine but could tell they had been sitting for quite some time. Mind you, the entree had already been served and now our table was full and the experience of a 5 course meal was diminished. At this point we just started eating so we could leave as our waitress was non existent and the food deliverers kept saying they would have our waitress get our refills, etc. We were never asked how things were, never checked in on. After being done eating for 20 minutes she asked if we wanted our check. Came over and showed us 2 receipts. One with everything rang up separately and one with the valentines “deal” to show us the bargain. At $110 the mediocrity didn’t feel like a bargain. When dropping off the check she finally asked if we wanted refills, which we did not as we just wanted out of there. We took our dessert to go.
I know this place is newer but wow they have a lot to work on. Even though this is the place where we had our first date and it holds memories, we have no intentions of returning. Definitely do not try to dine here as a celebration as they will let you down.
We came here for my wife’s birthday. My mother in-law made the reservation under open table for 5pm a week ago. When we showed up they didn’t see the reservation until after we let the know it was with one table. Then they said we had to wait till they got a table ready for us, after they can back ask if it was for a bday and that they had to reset it for the bday and got placed in the far corner (not a problem but I think is was why we go skipped over a lot). Ok I get it things get missed but I saw the look at 5 other reservations that they missed. Once we sat down it took the waiter 5 min to come and ask for drink orders (this wasn’t bad because I know he probably had other tables, nice kid though) after we got drinks it did take a minute to take our appetizer order, then we didn’t order our food till after we got the appetizers (which was kinda of weird) he came back once right before the food got to use to refill our water and missed refill 2/6 that were empty, he did stop by right when the food got there and asked if it was good and didn’t come back to give more water. At this point 5/6 waters were completely empty. We didn’t see him till he asked if we wanted dessert. From the time we ordered dessert it took 15min till it came to the table. Once we got our bill it only took a minute for him to run the cards and give them back.
It wasn’t a very busy night when we sat down but it felt like we were skipped over a lot tonight.
