The Retired Chef
Rob was our server on an early Saturday evening. He was amazing as was the cranberry freeze cocktail, the apple n spice cocktail. Can never go wrong with the lettuce wraps, dumplings and cucumber salad. It all came our expeditiously and we left in time to get to our event that evening. We will be back and try something new! Great venue, food, service with Rob and prices are affordable.

I remember when PF Chang’s first opened in the 1990’s and it was common to wait sometimes two hours for a table, but the food was soon good, it was worth the wait. Fast forward more than 25 years and there is no wait and you’ll know why when you taste the food.

The food isn’t awful, but it is far from the amazing food they used to serve PF Chang’s first began. We had lunch and the restaurant, which was quite large, was almost completely empty. Being that it is located in a shopping center, I would have thought they would be busier.

We were seated right away and our server took our order for the chicken lettuce wrap appetizer. Again, it isn’t like it used to be. I remember when they used to really get into making the sauce for you. They would ask how spicy you wanted it and then they would make it some what entertaining as they mixed the ingredients. Now they just drop off the appetizer and quickly mix a few liquids together. I would understand if the place was busy, but there was almost no one else in the restaurant so I don’t know why the server was rushing. The taste was okay, but not as crispy as I remember PF Chang’s from years ago.

For our meals, we had the Chang’s Spicy Chicken with rice and the Shrimp Lo Mein. The Spicy Chicken was okay; again, not the way it used to be when Chang’s first opened. The chicken used to be big solid pieces of chicken breast with an amazing sauce. Now, I think they are just using pieces of chicken thigh and the sauce isn’t as spicy as it used to be.

The Lo Mein with the shrimp was good. The noodles were good with a tasty brown sauce and the shrimp, while not very many, and mixed in were some fresh vegetables.

Overall, the food was okay, but not really any better than some of the fast food Asian restaurants. There are so many restaurants that when they first started, were absolutely amazing. But over time, as they expand their menu, they seem to lose the flavor and what made them so amazing in the first place.

The restaurant itself was very nice and clean and our server was very friendly. But as I have seen the quality of PC Chang’s decline, I don’t see coming back.

Tell me why this is my fav Chinese cuisine in the city. We came on a weekday and surprisingly it wasn’t that busy. We had the best server. She went above and beyond for us. We started with a few appetizers. I would definitely get the fried dumplings over the steamed. The steamed were ok but the fried dumplings were much better. The lettuce wraps are a must. You could even order those as your entree. Lettuce wraps = 10/10. The appetizer egg rolls were ok. The sauce had all the flavor. I ordered the sesame chicken as my entree. It was totally giving. I would say 8/10. I think next time I would get the fried rice instead of the white rice. If you’re in the quarry area, definitely check out PF Changs.

The first Chinese restaurant that has truly surprised me with its delicious flavors, delicate textures, and a perfect balance between Chinese and Western tastes. I wouldn’t say their food is a fusion, but their dessert… mmm… very Western, I’d say. Highly recommended! Five stars!

I am extremely disappointed!

After working a 10 hour Day, I decided to order dinner from PF Chang’s for my family and I. Knowing it costs approximately $20 per person, I expected a good amount of food. As you can see from my pictures, we all had about six pieces of chicken in our orange chicken dinner plates. This is unacceptable for the amount of money we spent for this dinner. After spending $100 for dinner at a Chinese food restaurant, I expected a decent amount of food. I will never order food online for a carryout at P.F Chang’s again!

Next time we’re going back to Pei Wei Asian Kitchen or Noodles and Dumplings.

Rob could not have been more sincere and lovely!!!
I was thinking won ton soup . Advised me on the size perfectly!!!
He took each order, being sure to note the spicy degree. We only had water and he made some even warm with lemon. Was so nice!!! Energy level was perfectly suited to our party of four. An early dinner
Bravo Rob

As a veteran, I respected the free meal on Veterans Day, and it made the meal taste that much better. I keep forgetting how great this place is. Although the bartender was confused, I guess from the influx of customers, she was not attentive, and I was skipped a few times when I needed a refill.

We had an amazing experience at P.F. Chang’s, and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Cristin. She truly went above and beyond to make my little sister’s 21st birthday feel so special. From the moment we sat down, her service was attentive, friendly, and genuine. She made sure everything was perfect and really added to the celebration. The service was excellent, and Cristin’s energy and care made the evening memorable for all of us. Thank you for such a great experience!
