My meal consist of the smothered cube steaks on a bed of rice, which was absolutely amazing and fork tender I wished I had more gravy lol. Yams was sweeten to perfection not overly sweet, my mac & cheese was very flavorful. Only one complaint not really a complaint I just desired more gravy.

Definitely a hole in the wall that I wasn’t quite sure about at first but after walking in, nothing but warm welcomes. Chicken fried fresh. Collard greens had no meat but was really good! I have no complaints. Even hear conversation with the owner while we waited for our food and he was very nice and hospitable. I will definitely be back!

If you’re looking for a place that tastes like mom or grandma home cooking, don’t over salt their food, and give you nostalgia, then this is it! I ordered their 1pc roasted Turkey wing, cornbread dressing, macaroni and cheese, and potato salad meal. I loved it. It looks like they forgot to put gravy over my meat, which I wanted, but it was still delicious. I may have needed to request that, so I won’t hold them to it. I truly enjoyed that they did not over salt their food like other places, in order to bring out the natural flavors of the food. The macaroni and cheese tasted like macaroni and cheese, and the Potato Salad tasted like potato salad! If you know you know. Thank you for staying true to the taste of southern cooking.

First let me start off by saying this is a hidden gem. 10/10. It reminds me of going to my grandma’s house. That good southern cooking. Hospitality was amazing. Everyone was friendly and made me feel comfortable. This was my first time coming. I drove from Brevard county. 45 mins away. And I will definitely be back. I ordered the pig feet, yellow rice, Mac and cheese, dressing and corn bread. And also to two fried pork chops sandwich. Which the pork chop sandwich where cooked when ordered. Fresh out the grease. And the total for all that food was only 26 dollars. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you for the amazing customer service

DELICIOUS!!!! This food is was sooooooo good! I had the yellow rice with black-eyed peas, baked chicken, and mac n cheese. The baked chicken was soooo flavorful and the juice over thr rice was such a nice touch. Even the cornbread was flavorful. Gives mom and pop vibes and the people were very kind. Felt like I was having someone’s grandmas food for lunch. Definitely going to come back and if you are in the area I highly recommend!

Arrived on vacation and wanted to try something different. Googled soulfood in Orlando, Florida, and I chose to try this restaurant. I’m not sure what side of town this is located on, but it’s about 13 mins from downtown Orlando. The staff there was super nice and helpful. The restaurant was clean. This is what we would call a hole in the wall in Dallas. Not really a place you would sit down and eat, but they do have two small tables for two in the hall. Now, to rate the food. The food was good. Home cooked soulfood. It was seasoned, well prepared, and very tasty. My family ate every crumb. The pig feet, meat loaf, turkey wings, and baked beans …delicious. The dressing was different, but good. I was a fan of the peach cobbler. I didn’t know what to expect but we weren’t disappointed. We spent $75 for a family of five….WELL WORTH IT. I highly recommend….if you’re visiting Orlando to try this place.
Thank you for your service!!!
