This is a great family vibe sushi joint. Made a friend on my first visit and he was there again. The owners have watched his kids grow up and it’s the first place they want to go when they’re on break from college. Solid rolls on his advice are the Irvine roll and Yellowtail Special. Had his other favorite the Toro Toro roll the other night, also the Spicy Garlic Scallops. Kirin Ichiban on tap and Kurosawa sake. What’s not to like?

This Sushi restaurant became the my favorite place. I can’t believe some folks are leaving bad reviews for this top-notch restaurant. This is NOT the all you can eat sushi restaurant. Don’t be confused people If you are the person who likes to fill-up your stomach with cheap quality food and/ or expecting quantity over quality, you are definitely needs to get out of this lovely place and don’t leave a bad reviews because you are the one who doesn’t have an idea how the sashimi/sushi should be served.
Trust me, this restaurant offers the most fresh and affordable Japanese food you can find in this area.

Chefs are super friendly, fast and it goes to same for the
experienced waitresses who I’ve seen them for at least 10+ years. They never missed my orders even though busy hours and super promt every time.

He is loud ( in a good way) and funny has a long hair and makes you worried if he could be the trouble for the owner he is the owner of this restaurant and has a personality to make everyone to smile. Some people could say who cares, but really matter to me because I’m the type of person who would love to enjoy my food and drink where I’m most comfortable and relaxing.
And of course, foods are fresh and they have a variety of sushi, sashimi and sake that you can’t find in ordinary Sushi restaurant. Just ask.
Trust me, you won’t regret taking your family and friends to this Sushi restaurant.

It was confusing from the Ozen sushi at Buena Park. The Buena Park is “all you can eat” however, this location isn’t AYCE. For appetizer, I ordered calamari tempura which wasn’t looked like a real calamari that I ate before. (2 out of 10). I ordered a sushi roll which had too much fake crab legs. It had shrimp inside and salmon outside (looked like salmon). The taste was ok (4 out of 10). I didn’t like the atmosphere and decoration. They sat me next to the front door while they had other empty seats in the back. Their door didn’t function properly and was open all the time and the cold wind was bothersome. Overall, I won’t go back there.

Looking for sushi, ramen, noodles, bento boxes – Ozen has a little bit of everything. It never disappoints. Try the lunch menu – better pricing before 3pm. There is a little up charge for dinner and weekends. We’ve had all the bento boxes (teriyaki chicken, bulgogi beef, and salmon). It usually comes with miso soup but only for dine in and a choice of sushi or rolls or tempura, rice, salad and wontons. Several tables inside and lots of outdoor patio seating. Located at the Food Festival Food Court in Foothill Ranch. Prices are good for the amount of food you get. The staff and owners are super nice and always greet everyone as they come and go.

Sushi was falling apart, and there was way too much fake crab mayo mix. Overall it was Overpriced and underwhelming. The seaweed salad was good and the service was quick but the sushi was disappointing.
