Reviews
No matter the time or day, I’ve always been greeted warmly upon arrival. The wait has never been long during my visits, whether on a weekday or weekend. The staff here is incredibly friendly, attentive, and efficient — they make you feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of.
The sushi itself is fantastic. Every roll is crafted with care and doesn’t fall apart easily, which shows the skill behind the preparation. The fish is always fresh, and the flavors are balanced and satisfying. Ozen offers two tiers of All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) options: Regular and Premium. So far, I’ve only tried the Regular AYCE and have been thoroughly impressed — generous portions, great variety, and no skimping on quality.
Pricing is also fair, especially considering the quality of food and service. Compared to other sushi spots in the area, Ozen delivers great value without compromising on taste or presentation.
It’s a great place to come solo for a peaceful late-night meal or with friends to catch up over delicious sushi. Whether you’re a night owl, a shift worker, or just someone who appreciates good food and good service, Ozen Sushi is definitely worth the visit.
However, they calculate tips for both Tax and credit card fees. I don’t know why you think this will be accepted.
I calculated and paid the tip myself, but a system that only thought about money without thinking about customers at all is difficult to accept.
This restaurant and found a hair in my miso soup. I literally opened the container and poured it into my clean bowl. The hair is the size of no hair on my body. Clearly not mine. Gross. And door dash only refunded $2.90 while I’m too grossed out to eat the remainder of my $90 sushi. Just unsanitary.
I picked up my order and waited patiently to be helped. When the woman working approached me, she didn’t let me speak and immediately started trying to look at my phone screen, invading my personal space while I was trying to explain that I had placed a phone order. I asked for more ginger, but she walked away while I was still speaking. I assumed she was busy and didn’t hear me, so I grabbed some myself. (It was in plain sight within reach)
She then came up to me in a very aggressively, getting in my face and telling me I shouldn’t grab things without asking even though I did ask. The interaction made me extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed, and I ended up wasting more time than I should have. I just wanted to leave at that point.
I offered to pay for the extra ginger, but she insisted on giving it to me for free while still making it a big issue. I’ve dined in before and never had a problem or been charged for ginger, so the whole situation felt unnecessary and hostile.
Overall, be aware of possible unexpected up charges, and also be prepared for uncomfortable aggressive customer service.
