THE BEST SUSHI IN THE MAINLAND. The owners are incredibly kind and hardworking. Food is excellent, huge portions, and the best service. My favorite is the salmon aburi oshi roll and tiger roll, it’s so delicious. I look forward to eating this every week. The restaurant itself is always clean, warm and inviting. They always give the best customer service. We often do takeout as well and everything is always wrapped mindfully to ensure no spills. Seriously, it’s so good that we drive 30 minutes just to come here.
Do NOT pay attention to the one star reviews. They were all submitted on the same day and clearly fake reviews by someone determined to slander a small business. Especially frustrating when the owners are the sweetest and hardest working people in the world.
Now a regular here,.service is excellent and food is always good.
Follow up: Waited with anticipation until we were able to go back. The experience was even better than the first time, as now we craved for the little dishes. The food is prepared masterfully, and a definite must try now in Surrey.
Next follow up: now we invite friends and family to here, and they never disappoint. Food maintains high quality and service always friendly. Great place to host dinners.
This place is now a regular favorite. Check out how many pictures we have now. The quality is always high, and very friendly staff.
When we first got in I noticed how clean the restaurant was. And it was very well lit with nice seating. We were greeted and seated by Ayana our server. She was very polite and got us our drinks right away. Steve and Stella are the owners and they also gave a warm welcome.
My youngest got the Chicken Udon. It was massive and absolutely filled with all the good stuff. My daughter would pick something out and go oooooo dad look what I got. I tried it and it was really flavourful. And it would be amazing on a cold day. Will have to come get myself one later.
My oldest had gotten Saba Set it came with a large salad, miso soup, a fillet of mackerel, and well so much stuff you’ll have to see the pictures. It was all amazing. My daughter really loved the tofu from it. And her and sister just about fought over the mackerel.
I had gotten my chicken teriyaki, gyoza (spicy) and the takoyaki. Gyoza was fried very lightly and I really loved that. The spicy Thai was nice add. I really hate most places for their takoyaki. But here it was just out of this world good. It’s wasn’t so creamy that I’m like why did I eat this again. It was just the right amount of creaminess to the soft but also crunchy outer part. And the piece of octopus wasn’t like chewing gum. It was perfect for texture. The chicken teriyaki was really like really big. Made with veggies and not rice. But you get some rice on the side. (Or maybe my kids got the rice. There was so much food it was awesome you can see it in the pics.) the chicken breast itself was like the size of a turkey breast. It was awesome. It came out very hot though. I was a little worried Ayana was going to burn herself. But she’s a pro and I had nothing to really worry about.
I will 100% be coming back for more. This place has only been open 4 months. And it’s going to be here for a long time because of the quality of the food here and the service.
Literally of someone was to ever give this place a bad review. I would think they’re nuts. Or just an angry Karen…..
