This is a great little hometown restaurant for breakfast, laughing and hometown talk. Very friendly staff and owner. If your ever stranded due to a snow storm, or just happen to find yourself in Union City, TN, stop on by, you will not be disappointed.

Best food in union city period. Great people who run it. Johnny Bab and his daughter Kim are the nicest people I ever met, very considerate and caring people for their customers and employees. The service is excellent and the food is absolutely amazing Ms. Jane does the greatest job ever preparing and cooking the food for all the customers that come in. I highly recommend visiting this amazing Christian ran restaurant. If you never been experienced it you’re really missing out on wonderful down home country cooking for meals fir the whole family to enjoy!

I got the lunch special, which was a hamburger steak with mushrooms and onions, mashed potatoes and gravy, turnip greens, green beans, and a cornbread muffin. all the food was excellent and the portions were generous. the restaurant is neat and tidy. the bathroom is tiny and you have to wash your hands outside of the bathroom which is strange. it would have been nice to have some music playing so it’s not so quiet. worth the stop!

This place was good for breakfast. The prices are reasonable the staff was friendly. The food is typical American and southern food I plan to return to try other dishes as I was was informed by the owner that the fish plate is to die for. And here in the south that’s a challenge I will gladly accept!

I called ahead and ordered steak, baked potato and salad. It was ready when I got there. Steak was cooked medium rare, baked potato was tender and hot enough to melt butter and salad was just right. Little pricey, but good steak comes at a cost. The food was great.
