Really nice atmosphere, quiet. The food is great! I had the filet mignon, medium and it was cooked perfectly! No steak sauce necessary! My sides were the mushrooms and garlic potatoes, both delicious especially the mushrooms. My husband had the surf and turf, his filet was medium rare, he said he wanted to hug the cook! His fried catfish was fantastic, I snitched a hush puppy and it was delicious, too. We highly recommend this restaurant! Our server was attentive and very polite, we were checked regularly but not intrusively. Great experience, we’ll definitely be back soon.

I went to the oyster and Seafood restaurant in Oxford Mississippi and I ordered grilled shrimp with asparagus and mixed vegetables. For an appetizer I got the seared ribeye. The seared ribeye was delicious. It was cooked medium rare and seasoned very well. However, when I got my entree, my grilled shrimp was rather salty. The asparagus was tasteless as well as the mixed vegetables. Not only that, it was swimming in grease. I was trying to eat healthy, but when I saw all the grease, I realize that I wasn’t. So I gave it a 2 rating and hopefully my next visit will be more enjoyable.

One word: Excellent! Scampi is a must try. We live in Birmingham Al and were visiting family for the holiday. We had never eaten here before, but we WILL be back whenever we are in town. When I can find a place that I can cut my steak with a butter knife you can bet I’ll be back. Wish we had a location at home.

I really don’t get the name, but the food was fantastic and the service was excellent. One of the best steaks I ever ate. House cut fries were seasoned perfectly and cooked precisely. Wonderful stuff, really, check it out.

I had really high hopes for this place going in, but in the end I left as hungry as I was going in.
Service was quick and effecient. My server was very polite. I ordered the blackened catfish which came with a house salad to start, endless hush puppies, and the catfish with a side of my choosing. I picked mash potatoes to be safe.
The house salad consisted entirely of iceberg lettuce, cheese, and croutons. It was watery, bland, and just plain boring.
Then I received my hush puppy basket, though I’m not sure the cheff has ever tasted a hush puppy before. These were, by far, the most bland pieces of fried dough I’ve ever tasted. Absolutely no spice, no corn, nothing added. I couldn’t finish one.
Lastly I received my catfish, and this one really took the cake. Fish of most varieties, when cooked, is meant to be buttery, flaky, and easily cut with a fork. What I received was catfish that had obviously been frozen…for awhile. I needed a knife to cut the filet and it took forever to chew. The blackened seasoning was salty and added nothing to the fish. And my mash potatoes were overcooked and…we’ll viscous. As in very watery for potatoes. They practically ran off my fork like liquid.
I tipped my waitress and left. There was absolutely no way I would pay $15 for that meal I will most definitely not be returning.

To the owner, I don’t care how you think about this review. I don’t have to wrote a bad review for you because I don’t do business, we are not competitor. However, I just want to let everybody know my feeling. I feel bad of your food. You said your reviews are all positive on yelp, that could be fake. Everybody know that. I suggest you do not doubt your customer, doubt your food and service first.
Worst seafood!!! Never go again! The oyster was not fresh. Can you believe the oyster size is bigger than it’s shell. lol. How can you put a large oyster in a small shell? The grill oyster is very very disgusting! They put black paper and green paper and cheese on the oysters. You know what, those spice can cover odd smell of un-fresh seafood!!! The funniest thing is seafood chowder, I never seen a seafood chowder is clear water with shrimp and seaweeds. To the owner of Oyster & Seafood, if you don’t know what is seafood chowder, plz google it, for example, legal seafood chowder! Also, for your “Fresh oyster”, plz don’t inject water to your oyster. It taste really really disgusting!
Anyway, I will never never go again! If you don’ t trust me, give it a try, I promise you will feel really bad.

Don’t let the plaza location fool you! We came in from Missouri not really expecting the experience we encountered. The atmosphere was great, but more than that the meals we are were beyond wonderful…and to top it off we ate the bread pudding for desert and I think Jesus himself came down and touched it! It was that good!
