This is the old Emilio’s! You either love it or hate it! It’s heavy Deep South Mexican food. The tortillas in butter are to die for Gravy is hella spicy but soo good, portion sizes are huge! Go to items Taco, enchilada beef or cheese, Mexican pizza !!! Also they will give first timers a sample platter before ordering so you can see what you prefer.

Wow, we moved nearby from Tucson AZ. It has been so hard to find the great Mexican style food we are used to in Tucson. We just found it! Blown away by the great familiar flavors and amazing selection. Portions sizes are huge as well. From the beans to the chicken and beef, all were so good! Thank you for the great food and the great service!

We heard nothing but good things about this place so we decided to try it. I ordered enchiladas and what came out was far from. I was not expecting a mountain of cheese with two tortillas flat on the inside. The “gravy” was flavorless and looked like vomit. The rice was mid and really the only thing that was edible. We will not be returning. If you want good authentic Mexican food, try Torti Taco next door.
Also be aware that Oye Amigo does not accept credit or debit. Cash only.

My buddy got some kind of combo plate. I ordered a Mexican Pizza with the spicy gravy. The presentation isn’t the best, but taste is what matters. They definitely nail it! This is some tasty food! Bring cash. They don’t take credit cards.

Tex-Mex. I have eaten at this location for thirty years, and love it. Original recipes from Emilio Gomez, who operated a restaurant in Battle Creek for 25 years. Not exactly vegan friendly, lard is used in many recipes, but we all love the Gravy & Buttered Tortillas.

A little hole in the wall mom and pop shop that will more than fill that hunger in your tummy without putting a hole in your wallet! Very friendly staff, tasty food, good atmosphere at a great price. That’s a good combo in my book!

This is not your typical Americanized Mexican restaurant. This is very authentic from southern Mexico. Lots of flavor and a great spice level. Portions are very large. Service was friendly and fast. No beer and I didn’t like the bagged tortilla chips. Tasted like donkey chips.

Food was great. Portion size was very sufficient. Medium-low level of spiciness to the food. Green hot sauce they have is very good. Ate: Combo plate, mexican chili cheese dog

Nothing we had at this restaurant was remotely good or flavorful. I have traveled all over the US for work. In 30 years of working on the road this place is easily at the bottom of the list of restaurants I would return to.
We should have walked out when we noticed how empty the restaurant was.
