The staff were really nice and the food was amazing. I tried the tempura ice cream and California roll and it was the best I’ve ever had. The service was fast, and the server Eileen is the nicest, fastest, and friendliest server I have met. I would 100/10 come again for the food and service!

This is a perfect go to spot in the surrounding area when you are craving quality sushi. First time here and definitely not our last. Everything was fresh and delicious, and believe it or not all rolls are 50% off ALL DAY EVERY DAY. The food came out quickly and the rolls were nice and tight. We spent less than $30 for 8 rolls, incredible value. The chocolate lava cake tasted a bit too commercial, but we’ll try a different dessert next time.

Setting:
We were seated at a high top table across from the hibachi’s. I would recommend against being sat here if you’re looking for an intimate table, their hibachi, presentation becomes very loud. They squirt water and throw things. And there’s a cart of either food or empty plates that whizzes by every five minutes. However, we went on a Friday night with an event being held at the courthouse, so our options were limited.
If you are a party booking for a special event, especially if you have children. I would recommend it. Everyone I saw was having a great time, and the chef was very interactive, especially with the kids.
Wait Staff:
Our waitress, was truly having an off night. I don’t know if they overbooked, or she was just that angry in general, but it came across through the whole ordering process. She did loosen up a little, especially with the hibachi tables directly across from us which were clearly more worth her while, as she pretty much ghosted us for the remainder of the dinner.
Food:
We ordered an appetizer of scallion pancakes, and for our mains I ordered the Steak and Scallop Hibachi and my wife ordered the Vegetable Hibachi. This came with either a miso soup or salad with ginger dressing. We opted for the soup, I ordered clear soup instead, which was a dollar uncharge.
The soups came out instantly and were good. After we got the scallion pancakes which were pretty solid, I however I felt a little more dipping sauce would have made it better. We then proceeded to wait a really long time. The waitress did come by and apologize that the kitchen was backed up. Based on the amount of food that was coming out of it, I totally believe that. And honestly it was worth the wait, the food was extremely fresh, the meat and scallops were cooked perfectly and overall it was good. If I could make one remark there wasn’t a lot of variation with the vegetables at all and it made the plate as a whole – bland.
We were able to flag someone down for the bill, and after paying basically just walked out with no offer of dessert or even a goodbye.
Final thoughts:
It was ok, and the prices were good, but there was nothing that elevated it above a decent in my book. I would try it again on an off day and an off time – for a more relaxing experience 3 out of 5.

Took my son and several friends for a birthday hibachi celebration. Chef was fun and did the typical things you would expect. He also made him a birthday hat. We all enjoyed the show and food. I recommend you make reservations.

Walked in with no reservation and grabbed a high-top by the hibachi. The sushi was really fresh, and the 50% dine-in deal made it an easy yes. Staff was fast and friendly. Parking’s a bit annoying, but it’s absolutely worth it for the amazing quality and great prices. Overall, a great place! 100/10 recommended

Oyako is a small place that draws large crowds. My recent visit was so crazy crowded, but mostly, it was for people waiting for Hibachi. Fortunately, we were there for their delicious sushi and chicken platter! I usually order takeout from here, but we decided to go in, and there was a table available right away for us because we didn’t want hibachi. The food was delicious as usual, but the people waiting for the hibachi unfortunately stood close by and watched us eating. It was annoying, to be honest. They do have a closed off room near the pick up and register area that they may want to reconsider for a waiting area if they are going to allow people to wait inside. Otherwise, maybe extend the opening that they closed in outside for the waiters out more. Service was quick, and they were friendly.

Our family loves the food but we have got to stop eating here. The online delivery estimate for ASAP is always wrong. It said 35 minutes tonight and has been over 70 without any update or urgency. There are customers everywhere and everyone is floundering – both those waiting for takeout and dine-in. Online orders should have been turned off tonight if the staff cannot fulfill the orders in a timely manner consistent with what they state online. I would love to say this is an isolated incident due to a busy night for restaurants, but this is standard here and we experience similar with every order. We have also dined in woth reservations and waited 30+ minutes for our table beyond the scheduled reservation time. It’s taken a lot of disappointments for me to finally decide to document this. As I write this review, we are being told that half of our $200.00 order is ready (and getting cold) but the rest is not. Anyone have recommendations for local sushi + hibachi spots that meet the timelines they set forth? We’re hungry!

Rarely write reviews but our dinner was terrible. We came with family for my husbands birthday. We were so rushed and the waitress was incredibly rude. I asked if they do anything for birthdays and she said yes, yet absolutely nothing was done or even acknowledged. She never cared to show us a dessert menu and instead just left the check. Food was nothing special. So oily compared to other hibachi places. Wouldn’t recommend going here to anyone.
