First time here, and it was great! Started with the arancini, which you get 4 (forgot picture until halfway through), and they were good. I had a bowl of clam chowder, which was excellent. It had bacon in it, which i like. Not a cheesy as I like, but good. I had the chicken parm w/linguine (skates the first try meal), and it was excellent. Not oily at all, chicken moist. Wife had steak tips, which she said were fantastic. Finished with key lime pie, which was also excellent (totally forgot photo). Would definitely return and try their cacciatore.

Everything about our visit was perfect from start to finish. Made a reservation for 8 people and it was on time. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the service truly stood out. Our waitress Joyce was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The bread pudding is amazing!! Highly recommend Oxfords 10 outta 10

I keep giving this a shot because it’s close and the folks are always friendly. But the food is pre prepared and last time cold in the middle. as if someone has lost their love for cooking. It’s a cafeteria. Last night was my last. 3 little squares of bread in the basket. Cold. No seasoning. Oil slopped onto a dish. Looked like accidental splattering of pepper. Again. No spices or red pepper flakes … just dark flecks. Calamari app was warm but the coating had pulled away from the obviously dried out squid inside. Chewy and not very good. It was 6 pm! Not like it sat all night! Chicken piccata next. Any restaurant I’ve ever gone to you have a flattened prepared piece of chicken that is then dredge and browned before you put the sauce over the top of the pasta and the chicken. These were rough, cut chicken, white meat with a slight brown color and the sauce simply poured over the top. Like you’re trying to feed a logging camp crew not a loyal patron. Sorry.

First visit to oxfords casual dining this past weekend in Oxford and absolutely not our last. Everything was absolutely delicious, and our waitress was super busy but took good care of us. Also, we got to enjoy some great music from The Drunken Uncles.

Ordered fish and chips for the hubby, and a wedge salad with fried gulf shrimp for me. The shrimp melted in my mouth..outstanding. We are regular customers and always recommend you to our friends. Please keep up the good work and stay thoughtful with every dish!g

Such a disappointing experience!!!! A little too “casual” for us.
Made a reservation and asked for a table away from the bar. Our group wanted to talk and I have a hearing issue. They put at the first table outside the bar area in a very busy area???
Our server said she didn’t know how to open the bottle of Prosecco that we ordered… she left it in the table for us to open!!!
Had to ask for the complimentary bread basket. The bread was cold… not even room temp. We asked if it could be heated, her reply was… “it’s fresh, we made it today.” No offer to warm it up.
We finally had to call her over to order food. It came out very late and cold. The calamari was not completely cooked.
My last visit to this once favorite restaurant… WHAT HAPPENED OXFORDS?

Have been going for over 20 years. My favorite part of the food is that it is served hot. Went in yesterday for a late lunch at 4 pm. 2 other customers at another table. Service was mediocre despite only one other table. Bread delicious as always. Oil was like water. Disappointing. Husband had shrimp appetizer that was delicious. I had the chicken fingers. They were very tasty but barely fried. Skipped dinner and left and went and ate at Saloon 6. Not sure if there are new owners but not a single familiar face working. Not sure if only high school or college age young adults work the early shift but dinner has always been amazing with the same friendly waitstaff.

My wife had the white clam chowder and claimed it was top 5 ever. We then had some firecracker wontons and the flavor was over the top great. We followed up with chicken parm which was very hot, very saucy, and very flavorful. My wife had fettuccine and vodka sauce and claimed it was very good also. Our server Patty was very personable, efficient and friendly. Highly recommend this gem. On a scale from 1-10 I would rate this 9.4.

Great food and presentation. Leah our server was exceptional! Husband loved the potato cakes. The mussels appetizer was great and the parmesan trio really good. So many good items, will need to go back!

Had dinner here with a party of 10 on a Friday night. Opted for the steak filet tips “Milanese” which was outstanding! Large portion, done perfectly. Appetizers were great. A little loud inside, and two of my fellow diners reported that their baked fish, although tasty, was a bit dry. The steak “Milanese” was wonderful, and the service by Kathy and her co-workers was exceptional as well. Strongly recommend!!
