NEW OWNERSHIP…BIG CHANGES! I had to change my review. Some of the best food in the area! Massive salads and boneless wings are generous breast cuts. The thin crust pizza is tremendously good and packed with generous toppings. The atmosphere is laid back and welcoming with updates happening weekly, out with the old and in with the new. Drinks: decent pours on your mixers, and most beers on hand. I highly recommend this spot! New ownership, and they are over the top on making sure your taken care of!

Love owls nest. We’ve been going pretty regularly for years now and the people who work there are all amazing. The jalapeño poppers, tenderloins, wings etc are all amazing and decently priced. The drinks are great and won’t break your wallet. They are truly thinking of how to make west Peoria more enjoyable and don’t try to just get a dime out of their customers. They get to know you, support other small businesses, and just care. 10/10 establishment.

Unfriendly new owners. “Inattentive,” painfully-slow bartending. You’ll die of thirst at this place.

The current owners insisted on making their own mistake, and that’s exactly what they did. All of the tenders with higher Bar IQ were driven away – just like the once-loyal customers.

Three bad experiences in a row, so took this once-fine establishment off my list. Anyone want to buy a bar? That’s the only way we would consider coming back.

This was one of our favorite go to restaurants at one time. Not any more. Waited for 15 minutes to be waited on then left. Pool table has taken over dining tables. Sorry to see the new changes but even sorrier for lack of service. Will not return.

We had heard great things about Owls Nest..
We love to do reviews…
I give them a 4
Mainly because they have the best mushrooms I’ve had.
My nachos were cold, hardly any lettuce or tomatoes on them.
We asked for beef Philly horse shoe and got chicken. The service was ify
We had to keep flagging down the bartender to help us….and they weren’t busy. I plan on giving them another chance…mainly because of the mushrooms

(First time visiting)Great spot to kill some time and have a few cold drinks before calling it a night.
(Second time visiting) 1/2024 Stopped in for happy hour. No they don’t have happy hour but a friend and I felt it was. Everyone was friendly, singing along to songs with us, and happy to see new faces that were happy and friendly as well. Such a nice atmosphere we decided to eat after having a few drinks. Ordered the chicken and fish dinner. Well you will not be disappointed. They give you so much that I had to disregard my two sides to make sure I was able to eat all my fish. Friend had the chicken dinner. They could only enjoy one of the fried check breast. You will not leave hungry. So good was great, other friendly visits, great music and a bit of dancing. Well I did anyways. I would come again and recommend.

That was the best damn fried mushrooms and patty melt I’ve ever had. The mushrooms are fresh and fried to order which is super nice. Im not sure if the ranch is house made but it definitely taste like it. If not I gotta know what brand that ranch is. The patty melt is awesome. The French fries are great as well. Highly recommend

What happened to the great food from past at Owl’s Nest? Used to have great fried chicken and hand breaded Onion Rings… burgers are puny compared to the Great burgers they had. Service is horrible and crowds are much less. Was there last night and left after one drink and some below average GFS type appetizers. 2nd time since New Owner took over and there won’t be a 3rd visit anytime soon!

First time there. Obviously a local joint. Very casual and lots of regulars. Safe. Clean. Plenty of parking. If it lived in the neighborhood, it would be my regular hang out.
