The place was packed so service was understandably slow however once our waitress was available she was excellent and kept our drinks filled. Food was also excellent cheeseburger was tasty and good sized and my friends had the meatloaf special which they enjoyed. The type of fries they serve are not my favorite so probably won’t have those again but that’s a personal preference and nothing against the cook or staff. I also ordered onion rings which were plentiful and delicious I definitely recommend. The Owls nest is a hidden neighborhood bar that is an absolute gem.

I have eaten at the Owl’s Nest several times and it has always been a good experience. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food is well cooked and flavorful with sizeable portions. Monday’s half price pizza is excellent, I love the thin crispy crust, and distribution of toppings/cheese. The Friday fish special is another excellent meal, the walleye filets and sides are plentiful. The French fries are the bomb!

My fiance is a quadriplegic, on oxygen, and in a medical bed. I tried to order 1/2 off pizza tonight and was told by the owner that I could not do that because I take it to go. Even though she knows my fiance and I order at the owls nest 4-5 times a week. I told her if I could push him and his bed in I would. She said 1/2 off pizza is only for people that can come in and eat there. So someone with disabilities that can not come in can’t get the deal. That is so wrong especially since we ate there 4-5 times a week. We may have not been able to go in and eat but we spent a lot of money eating there a few nights a week. So because of this incident she lost 2 customer that spent good money. I will never go there again. All because someone with disabilities couldn’t come inside to eat. That discuss me.

That was the best damn fried mushrooms and patty melt I’ve ever had. The mushrooms are fresh and fried to order which is super nice. Im not sure if the ranch is house made but it definitely taste like it. If not I gotta know what brand that ranch is. The patty melt is awesome. The French fries are great as well. Highly recommend

We were there to celebrate a friend, bought multiple drinks and shots. There was a food truck next door and some of our party bought food from it and brought it into the bar. The bartender/owner ran over and screamed at us so the ENTIRE bar could hear her that outside food was not allowed. Then she proceeded to talk trash to the other customers about us. Needless to same we left and will not be back.
