This is a classic old casino and restaurant. The casino and restaurant are in two different parts of the same building. The bar is in the casino section. I played some slots lost some money and then had a great dinner. I went in on a Sunday evening, the bartender was great. I ordered the New York steak and it was huge. I ordered at medium rare and it came out, medium rare! They had a small salad bar which was fresh and tasty. The garlic fries tasted great. Warning, if you go in on a Sunday and expect to get pizza quick. Don’t count on it. There were people waiting on pizzas for more than an hour. The restaurant was not busy.

Great old time casino atmosphere. Breakfast & service were excellent. Warning. Cigarette smoking included, no extra charge. Though no one was smoking in the restaurant.

During my morning drive through Battle Mountain , I decided to stop by the Owl Club — definitely an early bird visiting a place that feels more alive at night . Even with a little initial confusion about where to sit, I ended up getting a nice private table past the casino area, which made the experience even better.

The waiter was incredibly kind and accommodating , especially when I asked about a dish I had spotted on their online menu. I ordered the “French Mountaineer,” and wow — it was absolutely delicious! ✨ Three thick slices of French toast stuffed with scrambled eggs and a sausage patty — such a creative and satisfying breakfast combo. The syrup on the side was the perfect sweet finishing touch .

It was truly a memorable meal, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Maybe one day they’ll even open a little gift shop!

Had a great meal here! Our server was super sweet and very attentive. We really enjoyed their chorizo and it was amazing in the burger patty. The chocolate cream pie was super yummy and the crust on the blueberry pie was wonderful. Their salad bar was well stocked and had good variety. The cigarette smoke does come in a bit but if you sit in the room with the salad bar it is not as strong

This was such a great find. The cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and excellent food. The french dip and Philly cheese were spot on. Flavor was nice and meat was moist. The menu is extensive, loaded with delicous looking breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. This is a hidden gem that we will frequent in our travels.

This was the best choice in town for variety and it is clearly a local favorite. The pies were enticing but we opted for breakfast dishes for dinner instead of the usual dinner fare. Hubby bragged that the 3 eggs were the best he’d had in a long time, plus the chorizo was good but a bit over grilled and dry. He also got a delicious flapjack with very thick tasty syrup. I got the veggie omelet, not knowing it would come with half a can of tasteless (to me) black olives which were added enthusiastically by an obvious olive afficianado. I fished half of them out which improved it tremendously IMO. The rye toast was also very good. The only drawback was the adjacent casino smoke drifting into the dining area. I used a leftover COVID mask in my purse to exit so as not to breathe in the fumes which I’m allergic to.

My morning drive through Battle Mountain led me to the Owl Club. An early bird at a nocturnal place. Despite the confusion, I managed to get a private table past the casino. The waiter was so kind to serve me an unknown dish I saw on their online menu. The French Mountaineer was amazing! Three pieces of French toast stuffed with scrambled eggs and a sausage patty. The perfect breakfast combination. The side of syrup was an added bonus. An unforgettable meal. Hoping they open a gift shop in the near future.

The staff and food was amazing. Felt like a spot you can find anyone from town or visiting going to for a solid meal. I had the french dip and it was quite tasty and the fries were perfect not too oily.
