Adorable little spot. Great staff and delicious food. Small menu but covers a lot of ground. Able to suit me with a dairy allergy and my sister with pickier tastes.

Get the burger and fries.
Owl and elm is fantastic. Ambiance is spot on, the food is fantastic and the people are second to none. They offer hand cut fries, roasted buffalo cauliflower, and many more upscale pub offerings. With a great beer and spirits selection they offer an awesome overall experience. I have tried many menu items and have liked every single one. Their burger is the best I have ever had, ever.

Most restaurants in the Yarmouth/Freeport area are winners and this place is no exception. Really great vibe and a creative menu. Table service is fairly limited since the place is basically run by a host and a bartender, however maybe tonight was exceptional. That said, food came out fairly quick and was all delicious. Fish and Chips and Mac n Cheese were great and the Blueberry Salad was unique and full of interesting flavors. Will definitely come back!

So delicious! Stopped on just on a whim for lunch. Had the BGF salad and the gin lime Rickey tonic. The service was good, everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Another person in the group had the southwest salad and could not stop raving about the black bean burger on top of his salad either. Just a side note, Kind of a smaller venue and parking is on the street.

I have been eager to try Owl and Elm and was really glad to get a chance! They have a small, inside dining space, with a few high tables close to the door and then some low tables to the side of the bar. They were very busy when we went on a Friday night, so I was glad that we had made a reservation. They seemed short on staff, because it took about 5-10 mins for a hostess to take our names and clear a table and then once we were seated, they were slow to fill water glasses and bring us drinks–the drinks came out at the same time as the food. The duck burger was really tasty and unique, though the bun was soggy (even before the over-easy fried egg soaked the bun). The fries were delightfully crispy! I ordered a drink but they were low on the batch-made cocktail, so they generously gave me the remaining bit on the house. I was surprised to learn that a $15 cocktail was batch made, but maybe that is standard for small bars and restaurants? It is very loud during peak hours (like Friday night dinners), so not ideal for anyone hard of hearing. But the interior is cute and cozy and Owl and Elm is definitely worth checking out.

Nicest dinner place in Yarmouth. Classy vibe plus quiet patio seating. Well prepared local options for food and beverages. Impressive service. Pricey, but justified.

The burger is second to none. I had the waffle chicken which was very good. Not a place to stop for cheep eats but the quality and great service makes it a must stop. Great beer selection as well.

Fun little hidden gem of a bar restaurant.
The Brussel Sprout appetizer is very tasty.
The burgers and haddock sandwich and french fries were tasty.
The flourless chocolate cake and homemade french toast ice cream were exceptional.

It is hard to pick between the scullery burger and the haddock sandwich, but the haddock comes with potato chips that are handmade with dill herbs in them and it is AMAZING. I usually give employees and sometimes clients gift cards to eat here because your $ goes SO MUCH FURTHER than it will in portland for great food and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend this little gem.
