First time here and we were really impressed. We tried the salmon and the chili sea bass—both were excellent, along with the sides. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was outstanding. Jordan went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Flew down here for my dad’s birthday and it was just as amazing as I remember it ages ago when they first opened. The service, food, and atmosphere were perfect. Thank you for a wonderful night and to treat my dad to a new food experience! ☺️
The venison with blackberry sauce was unbelievably delicious

Although the food is tasty, the portion is on the smaller size especially for the price. Be aware, the price one the menu is cash price. It is stated in the small print on the bottom. They charge 4% for credit card transactions, as well as for zelle or Venmo payment.

Owens Bistro is a Husband and wife run Restaurant in Chino for many years.
We had been to it when it first opened and again recently with our friends .
It was just as it was when it opened, Really friendly welcome great ambiance and attentive service.
The food we had was prepared well and tasted great .
Its rare for a Restaurant to exist for this long , survive the pandemic and still be just as good as it was the day it opened .
Before I forget tge cocktails are great, I had a mean Manhattan.

We were greeted effusively and sat on time. The food was surprisingly good. The service was okay. The drinks were poorly made and very small. They’re under construction so we were looking at plywood above us but they made due with the current ambiance. Overall, I give it three stars and they’re overpriced on their entrees, drinks, etc. Essentially, they offer Beverly Hills pricing for a Chino caliber restaurant.

Everything was good except the Brussel sprouts. They were extremely salty

I wanted to like this place so badly, but for the price point and service, it just wasn’t it and didn’t hit.
The ribeye was flavorful and brown butter mashed potatoes were tasty, but the ribeye steak still was sad looking with three baby halved potatoes.
I told the server I couldn’t eat raw meat due to my health condition and asked for the steak to be medium. We also ordered the rack of lamb, which we were not asked how we’d like it cooked. It was served to me pretty raw and when I mentioned it to the server, he was trying to convince me that it was cooked even though I couldn’t cut through the meat and it was pretty raw inside. They took it back to cook it more on the grill and then it was actually cooked. Major turnoff.
Our busser was much more friendly and attentive than our expressionless/emotionless server.
For almost a $200 meal, there are so many other places we would rather try or spend our money.

I had a lovely time at Owen’s Bistro! The food was pretty delightful and the ambiance of the restaurant was quite nice! I do, however, have to say their service is okay. Which is why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5.
For food we ordered:
Appetizer: Ratatouille on sourdough
Entree: The Pumpkin Pork Potpie!
Entree: Ribeye Steak w/ button mushrooms & truffle butter
Wine: 2017 Stags’ Leap Cabernet
I ordered a bottle of wine and wasn’t given proper wine service. The server just came over, opened the bottle, poured the wine and left. Didn’t present the bottle or give the 1oz pour to taste before pouring the rest of the wine. Didnt really give us the time of day… I know it’s details but the details matter.
I saw them do proper wine service & take their time to make conversation at another table, (Which happened to be Caucasian), so I know, they know how. It is definitely more of a Caucasian clientele establishment, take that as you will.
I still had a lovely time and the food was good! I definitely won’t be back but it’s worth giving them a try for a nice date night.

Decent restaurant and food but service was atrocious. Arrived at 655 for a 7pm reservation, not seated until 715pm. Why reserve if you have to wait for the table anyway. Drinks order was taken at 725 and then no one came to take our food order (despite us trying) until 745. When the waitress asked if we were ready to order and I told her yes given that it had been 20 minutes since we ordered drinks she responded “I can assure you it hasn’t been 20 minutes” – at which point I looked at my phone just to prove that I wasn’t going crazy. One thing to take 45 minutes to get an order in, even worse to be rude about it and try to gaslight your customers. Never encountered such rude service. Rest of the team was fine it was this one waitress who appeared to also be the manager. Cannot recommend as a result – for the amount we’re paying I’d expect excellent service.

Fabulous dining, in a very intimate atmosphere. Each dish is beyond excellent. The staff is so attentive and on point. We LOVE this place and always return here as they treat us like family. Dylan is best mixologist and entertaining as well. Denise is sooo welcoming, and Chef James is a master!
