Great little find! If you like true Texas style salt & pepper brisket on post oak, this is the place for you. The collard greens were the best I’ve ever had in a public setting, the mac&cheese was the best I’ve ever tasted PERIOD!!! The only issue I had was the brisket was a little dry, didn’t quite get to the correct temperature or wasn’t held there long enough for the connective tissue to soften. It was a little springy/spongy. The flavor profile was on point!!!! Anybody can have an off day when cooking in bulk and miss one brisket getting to 208° and being held there. All in all I highly recommend this spot. I’ll be back.

Stopped for Lunch. Huge BBQ fan I should’ve known when they did not have brisket on the menu. It wasn’t gonna go well. Tried the chopped beef hard to even distinguish what it is by looking at it. The flavor was not good. Tried a small mac & cheese as my side and a sprite just shy of 30 bucks for lunch. Mac & cheese had more salt than I could handle. Sprite was nice and tasty. Will be my first and last trip. Staff was very friendly!

Delicious Bbq next to brewery. Overlooks Chattahoochee River. Sells out of meats quickly. We went with what they had left on Sunday at 4:30 pm and were so satisfied
Bbq pulled pork and jalapeño sausage and all of the sides
Would definitely recommend

UPDATE: So I went over the holidays on a Sunday shortly after it opened for the day and had what was by far the worst food I’ve ever had there. My wife and I didn’t even finish it. The Pulled Pork smelled fishy and didn’t taste right. It was quite dry weirdly as well. I spoke with another colleague who I had recommended it to and he said that when he went he was also underwhelmed, saying that the brisket was surprisingly dry. I thought this might have been chalked up to the holidays, but then I just came across that Bryan Hull left in October 2025. I can’t remember ever having bad BBQ here prior to October 2025. But all the experiences I’ve had or heard since have not been good. What a catastrophic mistake. I am lowering my rating to 3/5 based on my recent visits.
ORIGINAL: This is HANDS DOWN the best BBQ in Atlanta. I personally think it’s the best BBQ I’ve ever had. I’ve been here 4 times now and it’s outstanding every time.
The Pulled Pork is fantastic. The Brisket is excellent with amazing juiciness and an excellent smoke ring. You are in for a real treat when they have the Waygu Brisket! It’s worth the extra money for it. The Ribs are fall off the bone, melt in your mouth delicious. And then the 2 sauces here are absolute money. Their standard sauce is so well balanced. Then they have a Carolina Sauce that is a mustard vinegar that is amazing. Pairs so good with Pork. If you like real BBQ then this is your place.

First time visiting this restaurant with my brother on 10-11-2025. He drove and we were ready I didn’t have anything to eat prior. He got a beef rib and a half slab of ribs and a sweet ice tea. I got a beef rib and a small Mac and cheese and a brisket sandwich with sauce on the side sweet. This is a experience at this place creme de la creme! Delicious, juicy, tasty moist and flavorful food kind of describes this food! The plaque on the wall says top 10 in Atlanta GA. They probably can drop the zero like Ric Flair says when the smoke clears! Pull up and get some bbq! I ate at almost every bbq place in the city and on the outskirts it’s levels to this!Oh yeah parking is $5 00 for 2 hrs. Go up to place your order and scan the barcode on the right for discount parking and it’s free parking is validated here!

This rating and review is based on expectations given Daniel Vaughn for Texas Monthly reviewed this place (a very rare but impressive accolade). We had 1lb brisket (flat and point), 1lb pulled pork, 1/2 rack spare ribs, a sausage link, small grits and large mac and cheese. With theee soft drinks, we paid $132. Definitely high but I’m ok if I’m getting central Texas level bbq. We didn’t get that.
The brisket was just ‘ok’, too dry, even the point. Righteous and Das are much better, particularly given O&H are at the high end of price at $40/lb. Pulled pork and sausage link was fine but not memorable. The $22 half rack ribs needed more time. I don’t need fall off the bone but I’m not looking for a ton of meat left on the bone either.
The grits were good, not outrageous though. The mac and cheese was very good but OMG the price. One quart for $19! It was very good, not $19 worth.
The counter service person was very curt, abrupt and not welcoming at all. The cutter was very pleasant though.
They weren’t busy at all at 1:30pm on a Saturday. I was expecting a line. There were 4 other table of people. The kicker is $6 to park. There was mention of retail validation but no clue on how to get it as you’ve paid when you leave your car.

You know when someone sees a pool for 8, buys it online, and when it delivers, gets a kiddie pool for 2?
We got reeled in by the YouTube review. The OAW Burger should actually be WAW – What A Waste. $18 with no sides. Really, just take it off the menu, because it draws away from the traditional BBQ faire. I expected a mountain of BBQ goodness, but ended up with a dry, unsatisfying small burger. Then, $ 6.50 for a mac and cheese sample portion. You should be embarrassed to serve a pittance.
The killer? $10.50 bread pudding shoved into a half pint plastic carry out. Not that slathered gourmet delicacy they portrayed on YT. Just a cold, hapless serving.
(See YT photo next to the actual). Yes, we paid $21.00 for those.
So, a 3 rating, only because the pulled and chopped pork got favorable from the family. But, $67 later, it was a most disappointing experience.
I got the impression they’re open Sunday mainly to get rid of the leftovers.

I wish I hadn’t come for the brisket, otherwise I would give the food 5 stars. The pulled pork, mac and cheese, and grits were great. The flavoring on both the pulled pork and brisket was delicious (peppery and smoky), but the brisket was tough. We waited 30+ minutes for our food after ordering. We came after the main lunch rush (the restaurant was full when we got there, but half the tables had cleared 5 minutes into sitting down). The wait is not an issue if the brisket would have delivered, but sadly it just made it more disappointing.

Okay so if I was just walking in I would think it was really good and far above average. The pricing is on point and I think the brisket and sides are way better than they normally are at places. Especially the sides.
But
Texas monthly and antsbbq I expected elite and got there 15 min after open on a Friday and it took two hours to just order and another ten min to get the food. (The wait doesn’t bother me but for the size of the line I feel like it moved wildly slow)
Brisket was perfectly cooked but sliced too thick, like an inch on some pieces like comically huge
Sausage flavor was there but it was barely even warm almost and a little tough or the casing was too thick. I did like the special chorizo sausage more than the jalapeño. They were already out of garlic sausage when I ordered.
Beef cheeks were completely without flaw
Cheese grits were perfect, banana pudding was a little runny but incredible, Mac and cheese was incredible
Most of my issues were nitpicking but with the recognition and the long wait I would want everything to be perfect to make it worth it.

Went as a group of four. We tried the. Brisket, pulled pork, ribs, Mac & cheese, brisket & vegetables stew, collards, cheese grits, Italian and jalapeno cheddar sausage. It was all great!!! The employees were so very friendly and helpful. They took out the time to talk to us and other guest individually. Wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely return for another trip. Thank you for the great time
