I didn’t eat much, but what I had was amazing. On top of that, the view was absolutely amazing from where I was sitting and all of the servers were very nice.
I got a pork roll and a cinnamon donut and honestly they were phenomenal. I know my pictures of the pork roll don’t do it a favor, and it’s not a lot food, but dang it was tasty.
Not often to I have such a pleasant experience, I will certainly spend some slow mornings at Oves in the future.

After a few “touristy” overpriced restaurant experiences, Ove’s is simply a delight. It really stands out as a place that prides itself as a reliable eatery that doesn’t have to cut corners to earn a solid memorable trip. Pricing was very reasonable for being right on the boardwalk, all the food was delicious, and every staff member we interacted with was a delight and clearly seemed to enjoy their work. The donuts are a must try, and it was so good we broke our usual rules and went there twice in the same trip!

Atmosphere is exactly what you want for a beach front seafood restaurant, we have been a few times and seen the price slowly increase but the quantity of the food hasn’t matches the price tag. $15 for a tiny basket of calamari is a bit much , the fried platter was delicious but portion side for the price tag was a bit under as well. 2 shrimp, 4 scallops, tiny price of flounder, the crab cake and stuff calm were the right size so that’s a plus.
At bill for 2 came to $85, although it’s not a bad price I just wish there was more seafood

Atmosphere was as expected in a casual Oceanside seafood joint. You can’t beat the view. The place, however, was pretty cramped even for end of season. You’re sitting so close to the next table the wait staff can’t even get through. The staff were very attentive and kind. Food came out within a reasonable timeframe. My mother got shrimp scampi which she said was fine but lacked flavor and definitely could’ve used some garlic. Sister got a NY strip steak medium, but it didn’t come out pink at all. She said it was fine anyway, and ate the whole thing. Husband got Steak Sandwich which he said was great, and the Manhattan Clam Chowder was okay but not something he would order again. I got Chicken Rose, which I thought was fabulous and would definitely go back for. I’m a pasta girl and this definitely checked all my boxes. It was a hefty portion so I took half home. Brother got a salmon special, which was cooked perfectly and tasty. My MIL got the Stuffed Shrimp which she thought was absolutely fabulous. I would come back here.

First time at Ove’s this morning, we had a wonderful experience. It has a wonderful atmosphere and service is fantastic, we were served quickly and got our food without waiting a long time. I ordered a water and I really appreciated the size of the cup that I got for the water, it was enough to last throughout the whole meal. I had scrambled eggs and they were light and fluffy, and the home fries and toast was delicious. My mom had ordered over medium eggs, and the only compliant was that the eggs came out over easy, but she enjoyed her meal as well. The seating isn’t inside completely but it is nice and cool, they have shades and fans overhead to keep you cool on a hot summer day. Overall, great service and breakfast. I will be returning here again!

Been going here for years. Donuts are out of this world good. A must try! Other breakfast items are delicious as well! Have breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, omelets, French toast and so much more! Staff is always super friendly and fast service. Get you in and out.

Great donut place on the north side of the boardwalk where the prices are reasonable and the food is pretty good. It’s a nice bike ride for some donuts if you’re staying in ocean city that we do every year when we stay there.

Honestly not worth the money unless you were getting fried food. Let me explain:
Wife and I got salmon and steak. Both were deliriously overcooked (salmon was leathery with no texture and the medium steak was well past well-done territory. The corn on the cob was oddly both hard AND chewy, which didn’t make for a decent side dish.
Here’s where I think fried food is the way to go: The batter-dipped fries were incredible. Honestly, best on this side of the boardwalk. Other people who had fried entrees and side dishes were oohing and aahing and, to be fair, they looked and smelled great.
But, if you’re looking for actual food that isn’t something breaded and deep fried, look elsewhere.
