I hadn’t been here in a year or two. The quality of the food has changed and the customer service is not bad but less welcoming than before.
We got a fish sandwich and the clam strip dinner( they were out of clam bellies, which may have been for the best.
The prices are decent for the sizing and where we are now. It is a fast food business so everything seems to be fried or double fried.
The coleslaw this time was inedible, horrid… be careful if you eat it… may have been spoiled.
I hope this was an end of season experience and it will improve next year.

My husband and I wanted a quick dinner by the water on one of the first warm nights of the spring, and our meal at Overton’s was exactly what we were looking for. The lobster was tender and there was a generous serving on the roll, perfectly buttered too. The cod fish and tartar sauce were delicious too. Loved that the lobster roll dinner came with a free soft serve! The seating area was nice, and we had no problem getting a spot for parking across the street. We would definitely come back!

Good food. Good service. Because everything is so expensive everywhere, the prices of lobster roll dinner ($33) is pretty steep for what you get, but it’s absolutely delicious.

Was passing through town and saw this cozy waterfront spot. Between the Lobster Roll, and the beautiful patio dining right on the water, I could not pick which one I enjoyed more. The food was fantastic, and perfect location for a side spot right off the road.
Stop here for some lunch, and grab an ice cream cone to decompress from the day to day by taking in the beautiful marina views. I will absolutely be back again. Fantastic find!

Very good, I got the soft shell crab roll and it was really good, the clams are amazing too! They have a shaded area so you can seat and relax while eating while looking at the water. Lady at the front was very nice and friendly

Really nice staff. The other patrons are very nice as well. Clam strips were good as were the onion rings. Fish and chips were generic. Lobster roll was great! Probably top 5 we have ever had. Parking lot is super tight! Shaded seating in the back is hard to obtain.

Directly on the water overlooking the harbor, tons of parking, super friendly staff, fast service, amazing lobster rolls with fries or rings (we got both), free ice cream with the rolls, and an overall charm that has to be experienced first hand to truly appreciate. It also didn’t hurt that Overton’s draws a super friendly customer base too, we chatted with several folks on the deck, making our magical evening out that much better. Keep this up and you have customers for life ❤️

Decided to stop here on our way to Rhode Island and were amazed at the quality! We got 2 lobster rolls which included coleslaw, a side (fries or onion rings) and a small soft serve. ($29/lobster roll dinner)
The lobster roll was great! Warm and buttery with plenty of claw meat and chunks of sweet, buttery lobster. The onion rings were perfectly fried and super crunchy. The coleslaw was tasty, not too much mayo and a good compliment to the lobster roll.
We were so stuffed after that we just split one of the small ice creams.

The best lobster rolls in CT and a great deal! The lobster roll dinner includes cole slaw, fries or onion rings, and a small ice cream. Beautiful waterfront views from the outdoor seating in the back.
