Absolutely love this building. The server we had was eager to help, but did forget to bring our sodas. I ordered my burger medium well and it definitely came rare. I was able to eat the majority and of course it tasted wonderful, however if you are sensitive to these lesser cooked meats I would definitely order well done. I had the elk burger with french fries.
The other thing to note is that when we first got there they were hardly anybody in the room but as the room filled up on a Sunday morning it became very difficult to hear while talking. We have had that experience previously when the entire room is filled. I think it’s just part of the charm of the building but something to be aware of if you’re trying to have a conversation or a meeting.
We love it there and will continue to go back.

I am just a visitor. And it’s my first-time restaurant visit on my last night of trip to Nevada.
We came quite late, kitchen almost close but waiter managed to assist with our meal even a dessert! I ordered NY steak, big portion but I managed to finish it, it was good !! Shared a Cheesecake too, and love it! And I absolutely love the pilsner beer.
Restaurant was clean and well-maintained.
It was Eric (I hope I’m saying it right) who’s taking care our table. He was funny, friendly, he did an excellent job giving recommendation, well, he knows what his doing! Outstanding!
Nothing is failing about this, Eric/ the people who work that night.. they made it spesial, I do enjoying a meal at Overland on my final evening in the state, definitely a takeaway from my trip and would love to come back when I’m around.

Getting in the door past the cranky gentleman was the only non-positive experience. Bartender was friendly and accommodating.
Our waiter was great, especially since they were just inundated with several huge parties seating at the same time as us.

Each of our meals was excellent. The French fries are among the best I have ever tasted. We had burgers, fish and chips, and a caprese salad. The fish was well cooked. The burgers were cooked to order.
On this Friday night, the bar was packed. The restaurant was merely busy.
The service was outstanding throughout our meal but faltered when it came time for the check. It took quite a while before we received the bill and even longer for the server to come back for it.

This really is one of the nicest places in town that you can get a really tasty Picon Punch but a delicious meal as well and in an awesome historic building that’s full of charm. The atmosphere here is lively and fun and I really like that they essentially have two bars that are on opposite sides of a wall and with one that has gaming available and the other side not. The later is where we like to imbibe and dine with friends but of course, there are tables available as well as outdoor seating for those lovely summer days. All the food here is great but on our last visit, my wife got the chipotle chicken pasta which was awesome and I can say as much because I kept snacking off her dish and I had the beer battered fish tacos which were amazing as well. I should note that the Overland does have a happy hour from 3-6 pm and they also offer drink specials and small plates during that time. Plenty of free parking is available around back and you can enter the restaurant from there as well. While this is a place that’s perfect for a night out with your significant other, it’s also great to come with a group of friends as well and I would highly recommend it.

Great local family dining with many menu options to choose from. The fish and chips provide large ortions and the sweet potato waffle fries were delicious. Burgers are very big and meaty. I also enjoyed the salmon bowl with healthy green options. Reservations recommended between 5-7m as this is a popular family spot.
