Surprised at how good this place was. Its like a gem in a small town. We were just passing thru and hungry so we stopped. Food was very good and service was great we got our drinks and food right away and everything was perfect.

We had the Chicken Fried Chicken and the Salmon. Both were excellent servings of downhome comfort food. The Chicken Fried Chicken and the beans with the Salmon were some of the best I ever had. The service was very courteous and friendly.

We have been going to this restaurant for a long time. When it was Buff’s and now Over Yonder. The food was good. But my family and I greatly appreciate the service. This outstanding service from our waitress tonight. She went above and beyond to make our dining experience terrific. Front line service deserves customers respect and appreciation. Thank you Mari. Y’all, I’m amazed at how good the food is! Chicken fried steak is made fresh, real mashed taters and grilled green beans. Nice servers and a tidy, clean place. Reasonable price for a good amount of food. Definitely going back!

We come here a lot and I ordered a steak and it wasn’t a good piece of meet which is not normal because I eat it almost every time I come here. I mentioned I wasn’t happy with the steak and the owner came over and apologized and told me he will make an another and even brought me the piece of steak and asked if that cut would work!

edit after owner response; as defensive as you may be, you are wrong, salmon wrap was had from your restaurant less than 6 months ago during the summer… so your employees have definitely made it whether you are aware or not.. as for you claiming i had no concerns, i made it very clear to your server how i thought it was ignorant to offer a fish wrap and then tell the customer they cant have salmon, even though salmon is a fish offering at your establishment, also had it not have been a concern, i would have eaten dinner there instead of leaving to eat at powerhouse burger, which you would have known had you addressed the concern yourself.. as for the time of visit, you are almost right, i was there at 5:40pm.

Just discovered Over Yonder! Outstanding selection , excellent service and food exceeded expectations. Reasonable prices and perfect cowboy atmosphere. Definitely be back for another slice of homemade German Chocolate Cake!
