What a gem! This place was great. The store was clean, the staff was friendly, and everything we purchased was delicious! There were 11 of us, we each ordered something different, and tried each other’s. This was a fantastic way to know what to order on our next visit. I love that Brownwood is embracing these locally owned businesses and that the downtown area is growing!

I had the ube ice cream it was delicious. The ice cream here is really good. Great customer service. I highly recommend stopping in for some ice cream. I didn’t get a chance to try any of the other items but they looked good as well.

Clean store and the decor/vibe/feel is nice.

Price was OK, but the scoops were small. And they don’t do triples.

There is no way possible to leave this place anything less than a 5 star..
I was in Brownwood for 4 days, and I came back 3 times cause I was literally having dreams and day dreams about their UBE ice cream.. I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Stopped here on my first night in town, and then begged my boyfriend to take me back again and again on our way out of town. I sampled basically every flavor, and while they were all so superior quality, and so so delicious, I kept coming back to the ube.. (and then finally got a pistachio scoop on my last visit to give another phenomenal flavor a chance.. + it made for a very aesthetic picture). This ice cream is not like other ice creams. It’s not like anything you’ve ever had. You can taste the love and hand made, small batch quality. It’s dangerously silky and smooth. Typically I only eat ice cream if it’s severely inclusive of chunky ingredients, but with the intense flavor here, I didn’t miss any of the chunks I normally crave. The ube was my overall favorite, obviously, because it’s so sweet, but somehow at the same time equally sooo mild. You almost don’t feel like you’re eating ice cream, it’s certainly not the kind of ice cream you eat that hurts your stomach after and makes you feel sick with a sugar crash later..
I cannot rant and rave enough about this place. I told my boyfriend “I would literally be on my 600 lb life for this Ube ice cream if I lived here” & I’m not even joking. Unfortunately I mean it when I say it’s a good thing there’s not one of these local to me, or I would be in SERIOUS TROUBLE.
BF had the snickerdoodle and & sugar cookie and 3 different flavors of ice cream over our 3 trips, and he also fully backs my review saying it’s the best home made ice cream he’s ever had. Every flavor he had and the softness of the cookies…

Cute little ice cream shop with hand crafted flavors. I had the Ube which was really good. Service was friendly and the shop is centrally located with good parking nearby. The prices are perfect and I like that they offer the mini that was still a fairly substantial amount. I recommend this place for a tasty treat.

I don’t say this lightly, but this is the best chocolate ice cream I have ever had! And probably the best chocolate chip cookies too!
Scoops are reasonably priced, with a mix of old favorites and new experiments. The staff were so helpful explaining thenflavors they had, and we got to witness them making some gorgeous creations.
The inside has cozy seating and plenty of spots to sit and share some wonderful frozen goodness.

Over the Rainbow is the cutest little handcrafted ice cream shop. They have a variety of flavors, and you can’t go wrong with any of them. The cookies are soft, chewy, perfection.

Such a charming place with amazing ice cream, smoothies, and people! Gigi and Amelia were fantastic, knowledgeable about the ice creams and ways to enjoy them (I ended up with a rich, delicious affogato with King Ranch coffee ice cream), and made it a delightful experience for me and my friend. Lovely space to hang out and visit in. And unlike the big city fancy ice cream places, the prices are very fair, with great portions. Highly recommended!
