We had a wonderful breakfast experience at Over Easy Al’s. This place is perfect for a relaxed and satisfying morning meal. We ordered the omelets and waffles, and everything was absolutely delicious. The omelets were fresh, fluffy, and generously filled, cooked just right with great flavor and quality ingredients. You could really taste how fresh everything was, and the portions were more than enough to leave you satisfied. The waffles were just as impressive—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and served warm. They had a great texture and a homemade taste that made them stand out. Whether eaten on their own or with toppings, they were a perfect complement to the omelets and made the breakfast feel complete. The overall quality of the food was excellent, clearly freshly prepared and well presented. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, making it a great spot to enjoy breakfast without feeling rushed. Over Easy Al’s is definitely a place we would return to, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious breakfast or brunch with great flavors and generous portions.

Honestly, we ended up eating here because Crocket’s next door was insanely busy. When we walked in there weren’t many patrons there so that was kind of suspicious. We proceeded and I’m sooooooo happy we did. There was an INCREDIBLY friendly male host, with beautiful dreads & a handsome face, who genuinely ENJOYED his job. He made eye contact with me, smiled, sat us quickly, and told us to enjoy our meal!!!! Amber was our server. She was fast, friendly, efficient & kind. We spent $71 pre-tip and ordered the cheddar shrimp & grits with 2 eggs on top, the HUMONGOUS cinnamon roll pancakes(3 in order)), strawberry pancakes short stack(3 in order), 2 sides of crispy bacon, a side of sausage links, 2 generous glasses of chocolate milk & a soda. Our food came out fast, hot AND RIDICULOUSLY delicious. The breakfast meat was yummy and cooked perfectly. Well, my grits were a little unusual but my blackened shrimp & eggs were great. The three cinnamon swirl pancakes were HUGE and we laughed because they were so large. The tall gentleman, with the dimples, who brought out our food was also friendly and seemed to REALLY love his job too. We had another female server compliment our girls, a male server said hi to us FIRST…overall, EVERYONE who worked there was in high spirits & incredibly friendly! Umber rare these days. We had a ton of leftovers too. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Fried green tomatoes taste like they were from frozen. They were just OK.

Chili was OK, fried deviled eggs were OK, I wouldn’t do this at home and erupt my stomach up.

Smash Burger, Chicken and waffles, chicken biscuit (without gravy or gravy on side) (I’d prefer a brown gravy), pancakes, bacon, eggs were all good.

Hashbrowns were cut to perfection and look great but too salty. Easy fix.

The bread pudding was one of a kind and delicious, but then the edges were burned. If it was seared light brown, it would be amazing and I should’ve got extra cranberry sauce on the side. They have decent menu selections for breakfast. A lot of sweet options, egg options, pork, chicken-I was looking for fried seafood, beef/steak.

The service was fine, the wait time was fine, the place has ample seating. I avoid the seating by the door as you will feel the draft from the front door in the cooler months. The other place next-door had a long wait time and this place was very accommodating.

First visit & it was spectacular! No wait, our waitress “Denise” (could be wrong lol) was the best! The vibes are comforting, & it’s spacious. Food was hot & delicious! We loved everything about this place. My only issue was the grits were wayyyyy too lumpy & dry and you only get 5 shrimp for $20. Something needs to change about that lol.

First off, the outside and inside is completely adorable especially for chicken lovers like me! Took tons of pictures. They have a great selection of morning adult beverages. I tried the Bourbon Iced coffee and it was delicious. I took one star off the food because it was just lukewarm when it arrived. We discovered it’s a new place so understand some growing pains, if they can figure out making sure things are still hot when they arrive, this will become a favorite for folks visiting Gatlinburg. The dished we ordered were excellent as far as taste. My husband got the fried chicken with gravy and it was the best we’ve ever had. I ordered the Ham and egg on a cathead biscuit, the ham was out of this world! Homefries also had an excellent taste, just wish they were hot! Service was great and we didn’t bother complaining because the food was delicious. Overall a great stop and one of our faves, just hope they can figure out temps! Oh and merch would be a great addition. I would have bought a bunch of their chicken themed shirts, decor if they had it!

First visit here for breakfast. It was good. The eggs were done to order. I enjoyed the potato option but not everyone did. I like the seasoning that was used. Small bacon.
I opted for the homemade raspberry jam and decided it was not my favorite. Probably a healthy option.
The decor was great! And our server was attentive and knowledgeable.
Worth a visit. Pricing seemed a little on the higher end.

The food was delicious! Service was quick and very pleasant. To be honest, we were headed to a place across the street but with too long a wait we tried Over Easy Al’s and I am not sorry at all! This will definitely be my first choice next visit. I ordered the hashbrown balls and pig skillet. The hashbrowns were tasty but small and only came with 5 but when I got my main dish I was happy it wasn’t larger. The pig skillet was huge! Very well seasoned, not overly salty which can happen when you pile pork on potatoes on sausage gravy on eggs on cheese would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed Al’s. Bright interior. Upbeat music playing. Good fresh ground coffee. ☕️. This combination will definitely wake you up if you are dragging. You can order anything on the menu at anytime. So, I ordered the Reuben and crisp fries . That was great. Large Reuben sure filled me up.
My wife had Al’s Blue Plate Special. (bacon, eggs, toast and a side). She chose cheese grits. She too enjoyed her breakfast and left full. Prices were average for Gburg.

First time here. We had to wait about 30-45 minutes on a Sunday which isn’t too bad because the restaurant nextdoor had a 90-120 minute wait. Food was tasty and plentiful. If you are not a big eater, then the short stack pancakes or Belgian waffle are going to be plenty for you. I have no idea who our server was, because I do not believe she said what her name was. I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

We went to Gatlinburg for a girls trip and ended up at this gem for breakfast on Saturday morning. Our server, LJ was not only attentive, but very friendly. We ate the hash brown balls (which were my favorite with the queso) and cinnamon hush puppies for appetizers (both were execellent)! For our entrees we got the pork belly tacos (yummmm) and the pulled pork skillet (which was HUGE and could easily be split between two people). We also got a side of fried green tomatoes which were the best I’ve ever had. It was great to have the options of cold brew coffee and alcohol (which is hard to find at breakfast in the city). My mimosa was great with different options of juices. Prices were not expensive and tons of food. You should definitely make this your go to place for a good hearty meal with great employees.
